My wife and I had a one-night stay at Escales dans les Dunes on the way back to the ferry port. We wanted somewhere clean, that was near the sea and reasonably priced; we also wanted somewhere that offered breakfast and where we could prepare our own evening meal. Escales dans les Dunes exceeded our expectations: the host Yann welcomed us warmly on our arrival and showed us around the accommodation, which had everything we needed and was spotless. The buffet breakfast was excellent and plentiful with fresh bread, tea, coffee , juice etc., as well as home-made jam, cake and yoghurts. Eggs were also available. We prepared our evening meal in the clean and well-equipped communal kitchen which had everything needed for food storage and preparation. The accommodation was ideally located just a short walk from the clean and expansive beach. Our room was very bright, spacious and quiet; it was also very reasonably priced. It was possible to park very close to the accommodation. We would love to come back for a longer stay to enjoy and explore the area further. Thank you!

This place was a delightful room, which included a very comfortable bed, a charming table and chairs, and a really good bathroom. We had two directions with the windows, that had us viewing the beach and the sunset. Breakfast included in the morning, which was absolutely delicious!

Lovely Room with large ensuite bathroom & immaculately clean. Lovely breakfast & use of a great kitchen to prepare our supper. The host was first class. Will definitely revisit en-route to Cherbourg.

Private access and parking by the door. One step away from the beach, but very well protected against the wind. Great bathroom.

We booked the larger room. It was a comfortable room with a terrace area outside. Nice and clean with a large bathroom. Parking was easy. Good location, 5 minutes walk to a big sandy beach, also lots of walking routes. Communal kitchen was very handy. Breakfast selection was plentiful.

Location is outstanding ...very close to the beach. Facilities are very good...Just what you want ...very comfortable bed and extremely clean well appointed bathroom...lovely ample towels and good facilities for self catering in shared kitchen. Very welcoming helpful hosts... and delicious breakfasts.
