Farm feeling

The location was ideal for us, traveling from Mountain Zebra to Jeffreys Bay via Graaff Reinet. We loved the farm ambience, the friendly hosts and enjoyed the well-behaved pets especially the working cats. We even saw an unusual kill, a Brown-hooded Kingfisher and the cat diving for the same mouse, the cat won!

A charming rural retreat, with swimming pool and farm animals. The facilities are wonderful, rooms extremely clean, and a fabulous kitchen and boma area. Hosts very friendly and helpful. The perfect place to relax after a day at Mountain Zebra Park.

Denmark Farmstay was our favourite stay in South Africa, as it is such a special place. The accommodation was very comfortable and felt like home. We enjoyed the amazing night sky of the Karoo filled with stars and the Milky Way. And our host was very welcoming and informative. We couldn't have asked for more.

they had very cute animals - dogs, cats, goats, lamb, lots of birds around the property - it is a heaven if you are hobby photographer like myself and if you are animal lover. I may even stay extra day another time just to look at the animal life on the property.
