“Second visit not as good as before”
Big comfortable room and bath room. Breakfast with large choice, but all for local customers. Staff in restaurant and house keeping is very good and very friendly, especially Abdul Khaler in house keeping is doing a great job. Always very neat and clean room and very friendly guy.

Ok, so this is written from an English traveller's point of view. Despite the Long Beach Hotel not catering to the European holiday maker, the hotel is well appointed and located in a good position of Cox's Bazar. Value for money. Greeted well upon arrival with a complimentary drink. Good attentive professional service from staff, such as Md N Hossain, with security checks as you enter the hotel; a procedure the UK could follow in practice. As this hotel isn't aimed to attract the European visitor, it would be unfair to mark down certain criteria. There is no bar, no breakfast as the European would expect, but in the café they serve great coffee.
