“The perfect Normandy stay”
This is French hospitality at its finest. We were greeted warmly by Laurence and Rodolphe and they were the most perfect and attentive hosts. The house is beautiful and clean and the breakfast is fresh and homemade. They couldn't have done enough for us. Its a 10 minute walk to Juno beach and the perfect location for Bayeux and the D day beaches.

Excellent hosts who provided a perfect base for our short break. Breakfast was superb with home made produce and freshly prepared items. Lovely friendly / homely atmosphere and we will definitely be returning.

Clean. Comfortable bed. Parking Breakfast was excellent although we were only offered a plastic wrapped shop bought madeleine on the day of leaving at 6.30. Something pre prepared and just a bit more substantial would have been ok

Our room was very clean with a large (1.8 metre) wide bed. The owner were very friendly giving us good advice on where to go and where to eat. Breakfast was also delicous with various self-made products. There are also two lovely cats living in the house. The house has a secured parking space. During high season it's better to make a reservation. As we visited in low season this wasn't an issue.

“Beautiful accommodation perfect for exploring the Normandy coast.”
Laurence and Rodolphe are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We stayed in Le Nid, their small and beautifully converted cottage. Facilities all of a high standard and thoughtfully furnished and equipped. Very comfy bed , great shower and a smart little kitchen with everything we needed. We took advantage of the secure parking for our car and bikes. La Cantelleirie is on a quiet street with shops and restaurants just around the corner. Location perfect in it's proximity to the local beaches, and cycle paths.
