“A lovely memory to last a lifetime.”
A very last minute booking, early evening, in fact we arrived before the owner had even realised we’d booked!! After her initial panic Elizabeth made us and our dog Samson feel so welcome. We had a beautiful room and Elizabeth our host even cooked a lovely meal for us both, poached eggs with Truffles foraged from the local area by her dogs and roasted Duck, accompanied by an excellent bottle of white wine. Following an early night we enjoyed a lovely French breakfast of croissants, fresh village bread, great choice of homemade jams, before continuing on our long journey. The farmhouse was full of charm as were the owners. Absolutely fabulous experience.
