“Wonderful mountainside retreat.”

Location: away from the crowds, halfway up the slopes of Val Veny with walks from the door. But adjacent to a refuge/restaurant if you didn't want to do self-catering for every meal. Incredibly well-equipped and quiet chalet, full of charm. Really friendly and helpful communications from its English-speaking owner (though we only actually met her Italian mother).

Chalet Chez Louis is absolutely the best accommodation I've ever stayed at during my travels. I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The host was incredibly lovely and thoughtful, providing everything necessary to make us feel completely at home. Everything was genuinely functional and usable - unlike some places where amenities are provided but don't actually work properly. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped with all the cooking utensils and appliances you could need. There was a washing machine and a proper drying rack that actually worked for hanging clothes. Every single amenity was truly comprehensive and functional. The host even provided tea, coffee, and various jams ready for us to enjoy. The chalet itself was absolutely charming, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. The bed was perfectly comfortable - not too soft, not too firm. The view from the accommodation was stunning and peaceful. Overall, I was incredibly impressed with every aspect of our stay. The only minor drawback might be that the bathroom is a bit small for larger individuals, but it wasn't an issue for us at all. I would highly recommend Chalet Chez Louis to anyone looking for an authentic, comfortable, and well-appointed home-away-from-home experience in Europe.

The location of this chalet is fantastic! You have a direct view over the Mont Blanc. The garden is quite big and sunny. The host Gabriella is very kind and available, and they thought about everything. You find all you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed our stay a lot and hopefully will be back soon, maybe in the wintertime.

There are simply not enough words to rate our stay at the Louis Chalet. It was indeed our dream vacation. Everything was spotless. Anything which you would imagine was there. Absolutely perfect!
