Right on the waterfront in Coulon with lovely bright rooms and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast available for an extra charge.

The location was excellent, by the river and close to all restaurants etc. Parking was not easy but the hotel does not claim to have private parking.

Beautiful hotel in an amazing position. We were lucky enough to have the balcony room overlooking the river - amazing!! Breakfast was really good and the restaurant next door served an amazing dinner

The hotel is ideally located on the canal and is very quiet at night. The room was comfortable and clean and benefitted from electric shutters that kept to very dark at night. Breakfast had good options – look out for the homemade yoghurt which is not in the same place as the mass produced option! The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The hosts welcome you in their hotel, giving you the space to enjoy your time but always being there when you need them. The room was very clean and comfy. We travelled with our dog who also enjoyed the place. We enjoyed the breakfast very much!

We try to use this hotel when we travel between Bordeaux and Brittany. It is a wonderful place to stay overnight. The owners are always welcoming and helpful and the breakfast is generous. There are lots of restaurants for an evening meal and being on the edge of one of the many canals in the Venise Verte the setting is magical. The rooms have been designed individually with great thought and creativity.

We try to stay in this hotel when we travel between Brittany and Bordeaux. The town is picturesque and the hotel looks out onto one of the many waterways which give the area the name, la Venise Verte. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated and the breakfast is generous. Many local restaurants are within walking distance as are public car parks. Busy during the day the town is quiet at night. The hotel is run by a charming couple.
