This is the most beautiful and stylish apartment we've ever stayed in ❤️ Our host Carmen was so warm and welcoming and had made every effort possible to make our stay personal and very specia. We had Cava on ice, beer, and coke in the fridge and chocolates on our bed. Loving touches were little flowers on our towels and soaps, beautiful throws on the sofa, and an atmosphere only Carmen could produce. El Cotillo is a delightful village, so if we decide to holiday there, Calypso should be a couple's only choice. Thank you so much, Carmen, besos a ti! 💖🌷💃🙏

The apartment was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you could need. Location was great, close to all amenities and overlooking the sea. Hosts were wonderful, so kind and thoughtful and at the end of the phone if we needed anything.

We booked last minute and Carmen made sure everything was perfect. It was a fantastic welcome providing tea, beer and some wine to welcome us. Clean, comfortable and cosy towels and a warm smile. The pool was great. Parking available right outside on the street, minutes from a nice beach for a walk and plenty restaurants and cafes nearby. Watching the sunset from the balcony or anywhere in El Cotillo is an experience I will not forget. Carmen (the host) was also able to provide recommendations for restaurant and places to visit during our stay on the island. We loved it! Gracias por todo.

We had an amazing stay at Calypso in El Cotillo. A beautiful apartment with stunning views from the terrace. Carmen and her husband met us for the check in and showed us everything we needed, including leaving lovely gifts like Cava waiting for us in an ice bucket on the terrace, chocolates, water and lots of other things. The apartment was so well equipped, clean and very comfortable. On my husband's birthday Carmen delivered a lovely homemade tiramisu, such a nice touch. Carmen sent me lots of useful information to help us in El Cotillo like restaurants etc. We had everything we could possible need for our stay at Calypso. We will definitely try and come back to our favourite apartment, the best apartment we have ever stayed in. To add to this we loved El Cotillo too, a lovely village that is traditional and beautiful.

We spent a week at Calypso in Fuerteventura and absolutely loved it. The accommodation was amazing – spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfectly equipped with everything we could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable, and the bedding felt absolutely luxurious. We truly lacked nothing during our stay. A special mention goes to our host, Carmen – she was by far the best host we’ve ever had. Warm, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

5 Stars – A Blissful Stay at Calypso in El Cotillo Our stay at Calypso in El Cotillo was absolutely perfect. The apartment was spotless, tastefully furnished, and had everything we needed for a truly relaxing holiday. The full-frontal ocean view was breathtaking, and the beautiful swimming pool just below was an added delight—we spent many t he peaceful hours enjoying both. Carmen, our hostess, was exceptional. She paid attention to every detail and made sure we were completely pampered. Thoughtful amenities were provided to make our stay as comfortable as possible, and her recommendations for local restaurants were spot on—every meal was a joy. The beaches on the lighthouse side were superb, some wonderfully secluded with what we came to call lava bunkers—natural stone formations that gave shelter from the wind and privacy from passers-by. A truly unique and peaceful experience. The location is ideal just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and the charming village centre. El Cotillo has a gentle, authentic charm, and staying at Calypso made it all the more special. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend Calypso to anyone looking for a memorable and high-quality stay in Fuerteventura.

“Wonderful, be Prepared for Surprises ....”

Beautifully presented and well equipped apartment in an excellent location close to the town, with a choice of excellent restaurants. The apartment overlooks the beach, and there is a grocery shop nearby for essentials. Carmen, the owner is such a warm and friendly lady and personally ensures you have everything you need, plus some lovely extras for good measure. Be prepared to be pleasantly surprised 😉

Perfect hosts, well equipped, clean and comfortable apartment.

“Amazing”

The flat was in a great location and had everything we could possibly need and more! The WiFi speed was super fast. We had everything we needed on a short walking distance. There is a Super Dino Express (supermarket) under 5 minutes away from the apartment, but we prefer to go to the Super Dino that is 13 minutes away as it is bigger and cheaper. There are plenty of good restaurants in El Cotillo to explore, my favourites were El Pez Gordo and Pizza Teperino. If you have a car go to Casa Marcos in Villaverde, it was my favourite restaurant in the island. The swimming pool was very quiet, we enjoyed swimming every morning and most times we were there by ourselves. Carmen was the best host and so lovely, she couldn’t have done more. If we come again to El Cotillo we would definitely stay here, I will recommend it to friends and family.

Carmen is the best host, together with her husband. Extremely friendly, helpful with tips and restaurant suggestions. Welcome bottle of wine and snacks upon arrival. As her guests you are looked after so well, it really adds to the enjoyment of your holiday. The apartment is great - well equipped, clean and comfortable. We slept so well there! And the interior is beautifully designed and colour co-ordinated. Great views from the balcony, perfect spot to sit with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Beach chairs and towels are also provided, which was an added bonus. The swimming pool and outside areas are also very well kept, clean and tidy. There's a small supermarket just a 2 minute walk away, which had everything we needed. The larger supermarket is also very easy to get to. The location of Calypso was brilliant, close to beaches and restaurants, it couldn't have been better. We would 100% recommend a stay here.

Absolutely gorgeous apartment and absolutely amazing hospitality. Everything is great, location, amenities, comfort. The apartment had everything you needed, down to the smallest details, such as board games. Carmen met us and gave me comprehensive information that was necessary for a good rest. We liked everything, without a doubt we can recommend it to experienced tourists. We hope to return to this wonderful place again

A lovely apartment in a brilliant location, with a lovely host. The apartment was bright, spacious and modern - it had everything we needed, with well stocked cupboards of kitchen applicances. The host was lovely. She let us in, gave us a tour, provided tips, and even left us homebaked goods, and dropped some more off during the week!

Fantastic host, exceptionally well appointed apartment and brilliant location. Our lovely host had provided a more than generous welcome snacks/drink pack to start off our great stay here and all home from home facilities (down to milk frother for coffee) were provided, including every kind of household/cooking utensil, hairdryer, iron/board, high quality smart tvs, good wifi and beach accessories. Bed (which can ruin an otherwise great experience) was really comfortable. Beautiful sunset views from balcony. It was a totally wonderful experience, even before we stepped outside apartment which was located just by the beach and short walk to dining, shops and village.

The hospitality from the owner is one of a kind ! The attention for detail of the appartement was amazing and very clean the family absolute loved it. We visit El cotillo for years and this was the best appartement and we will be back here with out a doubt.

We had fantastic time in the apartment and Carmen showed us great hospitality with cold bottle of Cava waiting for us upon our arrival and some delicious home-made desserts received the next days. The apartment was very comfortable, very well equipped, it had a great balcony with a sea view and perfect conditions for doing home office. Easy to park your car, beatiful beaches just minutes walking away, nice resaurants and supermarket just 2 mins away, a nice pool in front of your balcony, 2 free bycicles for our exclusive usage... what else can you expect? Great location, great apartment, great hosts!
