Parking a big problem as a Ferrari trip we’re visiting and had car park to themselves!! Pool did not have enough Sun beds with cushions.

“Lovely two night break in a beautiful village.”
Fantastic location in beautiful Cotignac. Staff were friendly. Enjoyed the tennis courts and poolside. Bar was fun too.

“Amazing experience true luxury”
One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed..from the friendly staff to the beautiful grounds and spacious rooms it was pure luxury from start to finish..perfect setting in the heart of Cotignac..we can’t wait to go back in August ..the food was incredible also in the bistro and jardin secret..if your thinking about it just book it!

We loved everything about Lou Calen! The owners are fabulous, kind and hospitable. The B&B is quaint, comfortable - what we call ‘brilliant basics’. The views are to die for, it’s so quiet and the swimming poool added a little luxe. It’s so reasonable priced and the perfect based to hope around the surrounding hilltop towns and villages. A slighter older crowd (we’re 30) but it didn’t matter, if anything it had def to the charm. Would stay again.

Amazingly beautiful accommodation amongst the vines. Spotlessly clean despite having so many trees and nature around. Staff super friendly and attentive. Both pools lovely but as an adult couple the Zen pool was by far the preference. Breakfast absolutely delicious and fresh choices. Wonderful location in the heart of Cotignac. Overall a simply delightful place to stay.

“The hotel ha every possible amenity needed and was very relaxing.”
The staff were excellent. I had difficulties with my hire car and the staff at reception were very helpful in solving my difficulties. Sebastian particularly was brilliant as was the young man on the desk on the morning of 9.8.25.

“A stylish hotel with amazing grounds”
Stylish peaceful hotel on the centre of the village of Cotignac- there are massive grounds behind the hotel with 2 restaurants, 2 swimming pools and many gardens. Bedrooms are beautiful- we stayed in La Casoule with a balcony and beautiful view. But there are many great options across the grounds. V clean and well maintained.

“It was a very relaxing, zen experience and the landscaping is absolutely stunning.”
The whole experience was perfect and obviously very different from my last stay in the Lou Calen in August 1997 when my husband and I were purchasing a house in Cotignac. The beds at that time were ancient and lumpy, the plumbing was dodgy but the food was good! All the people who have worked on this project for so many years have my heartiest congratulations, it’s very special! I shall certainly highly recommend it and I plan to return! Laura

“Stylish French estate nestling in the Provence countryside.”
Lou Calen is a very special place offering a truly unique experience. The attention to detail in the extensive grounds and accommodation is exemplary. It is a sensory delight. The staff are wonderful and the food is outstanding especially at their amazing restaurant. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!
