“Cozy and full of history”

Lovely host, abd super beautiful house! Also, great breakfast. We had a nice balcony and very peaceful place to seat and watch the stars.

The location is right in the heart of the old town. The breakfast was amazing, lots of local produce and fresh bread, fruit including fresh persimmons from the garden, and cheese . Achille was a great host, very friendly and providing local knowledge about places to visit and where to eat. He also kindly picked us up from the station when we arrived.

What a perfect stay - such a perfect location in the heart of the old town. The host was so attentive - perfect recommendations for dinner (one of the best meals in Calabria) and the breakfast was just bliss

Authentic place, with a history and amazing wiew to old town. Tasty hommemade breakfasf in the garden. Pleseant care from Achille and Maria Teresa, high level of hospitality. They explained about all nice places in Calabria, we had dinner together. Achille pick up us from the bus station after midnight. We were so happy to stay in "Old garden" with Achille and Maria Teresa. We are very thanksfull for this great experience in Cosenza.

“Surprised place”

Cosenza indeed surprised my husband and me. It is quite small but so intensive with historical sites. I love the structure of this building, like a maze, there is a new view of this town in every corner of this accommodation. Amazing sunset view up on the hill and by the river, I met the best sunset view ever here. The host is well-English-speaking and friendly and helpful and all other good words for him. The dining room is a treasure, an original vintage historical kitchen built long time ago.

The breakfast was good with homemade jam.

This was more like a home-stay than a typical Booking.com room. The host met me at the station, offered lunch several times, and was generally helpful and friendly; breakfast was excellent, (fresh-squeezed orange juice, home-made marmalade; cheese, ham, bread, pastry....) room wonderful, and the location is perfect: only a short walk both to the historic center and the new town. It is necessarily a bit far from Cosenza Station, but staying near the station would have meant being far from everything else. Also there's a garden filled with jasmine whose perfume fills the entire place.

Such a cute place, I really enjoyed my stay and the hosts made me feel right at home. The garden is beautifully wild, a little pocket of green inside a town mostly made of stone. The trees were fruiting and the berries were delicious. The place is run by a lovely couple, it was very intimate being in their home, so I wouldn't expect hotel-like privacy, but if you're open to the experience I would highly recommend it.

We've been travelling for 7 weeks and nobody has made us feel more welcome and looked after then the great couple who run this place. Even though we were only there for one night they were determined not to let language differences prevent them helping us understand the best places to go in Consenza. From the expresso on arrival to the homemade biscuit when we left, we were spoilt. Their house is beautifully decorated and the rooms have lovely old furniture and comfortable bed. We're only sad we couldn't stay longer.

“Very interesting building in an interesting neighborhood”

The building is old but very interesting. We felt like staying in a museum and we are glad to have had this opportunity to see the inside of such a building. The room and bathroom were spacious but old. Overall the place is nicely decorated. Big kitchen and nice garden. The owners were very helpful, we were picked from and brought to the train station by car. The location is very interesting, by the old town but close to the new centre, very close to the city gallery with an interesting collection.

Stopped here for one night with my dog - best place I've stayed. The room/building are beautiful - the breakfast was amazing (lots of homemade items!) - and the hosts are incredibly kind.

Absolutely loved this stay in Cosenza. Beautiful and evocative multistorey house. Great terrace for sunset & cosy lounge. Your host will treat you like family and had fantastic recommendations for Cosenza.

The Old Garden is a true authentic b&b located in an old house- the room well renovated, and especially with the most welcoming hosts who were very eager to welcome me.

We loved the old house. The bed was very comfy . We wanted an old authentic Italian home and it was that. Patritzia and husband were lovely people .

It's a very cosy room in a traditional old house. The owners are very kind people and give you all the information you need. At time of check out we had breakfast bonus with excellent marmalade!
