Casa Mandala is essentially a family beach house converted into a boutique hotel, and as such retains all of the charm of its original purpose. It is beautifully decorated, open and airy, and looks straight out onto a stunning beach just a few minutes away from the end of the peninsula. Owner Natalia went out of her way to make our family comfortable, arranging for after hours food from next door our first night, allowing us use of the kitchen, and helping with any and all requests. We enjoyed our delicious breakfasts out on the wrap-around verandah, and use of the private lounge chairs out on the beach, where a number of restaurants prepare great sea food. Truly a relaxing experience, and my daughter used her time there to write a 1st draft of her college essay. While we were there in the off-season and had it to ourselves, the house is perfectly suited to a larger group. Highly recommended.
