“Lovely stay near Cortina”

A big apartment in a traditional house, located near Cortina, 2km from the city centre. Very well equipped, with a washing machine and complete kitchen appliances. We have appreciated the good position as a starting point of our trails. Thank you, AnnaMaria!

Our host Anna Maria met us and showed us round the apartment. She was most welcoming and gave us some useful tips for our stay.

Anna Maria was available to give us the keys upon our arrival and was very responsive. when we called or texted her. The Property is very well situated in a quiet corner of Cortina, very easy to get to everywhere from there. The rooms are bright and spacious, with loads of storage, beds extremely comfortable - that includes the pillows :) We had a skiing holiday, and the large terrasse, balcony and utility room (with washing machine) were really convenient for having/drying bulky ski equipment. The kitchen is very well stocked and we had absolutely everything that we needed. No complains at all. I saw reviews by other guests about the apartment being very dark - our apartment (2-bed) was very bright in all rooms - the sun was always shining inside, making for a very pleasant time while we were in the house. Thank you Anna Maria for making our stay wonderful. We would most definitely return.

Lovely apartment in a great location, just outside cortina

“Brilliant place to stay near Cortina and a great base from which to explore”

We spent a week in this lovely apartment just outside Cortina. We were met by the owner's mother who lives next door (the owner was there 10 minutes later) and explained everything to us. We had no problems during our stay but I'm sure they would have been very helpful had we done. The apartment is large, cozy (plenty of wood!) and very well kept, it really felt like staying in someone's home. It was also great to have some kitchen basics on hand (oil, seasonings, foil, that sort of thing) instead of having to buy absolutely everything. There is parking directly opposite, a fairly sizeable area for 4-5 cars. The apartment is about a 5-10-minute drive into Cortina, quick to the ring road but parking in Cortina is always tricky. It could be walked easily on the way there but a it of a slog uphill on the way back. Perhaps more importantly, the apartment is located at the start of the pass up to Lago di Misurina and Lago di Brais. It is also a 30-second walk from the fantastic restaurant Al-Camin and a 10-minute walk from the similarly fantastic Pasticceria Ghedina that simply serves up freshly made biscuits. Considering this was the cheapest apartment I could find in Cortina with over 6-months notice it really exceeded expectations and we'll definitely be going back!

People who host the place are wonderful, very friendly and helpful in all aspects. The apartment is clean and you will find everything you need in the apartment, like cooking utensils and washing machine. Onsite parking is great, and only a few minutes drive to Cortina central area. Good place to stay when exploring the Dolomites.

The accomodation was clean, with all proprieties for cooking or take a rest. It is situated very close to different places for some walks (lake Sorapis for examle). The owners were very kind.

Sweet Home was a lovely chalet, with great hosts. It was in a wonderful central location for us to spend a few days hiking in the Dolomites. We would recommend it to others and happily stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in this very typical and charming mountain appartment. It was very well equiped and we could park right in front of the door. The location was very convenient as it was very central to visit that area of the Dolomites. The hosts were very nice and welcoming.
