“Quiet, but overpriced.”

The property was in a rural setting, away from the city, with goats meandering in nearby paddocks. Lovely garden setting. Breakfast was very good. A nice private back deck to enjoy cheese and biscuits.

The outside area for relaxing was super.

The photos on the website give a different impression than reality. The beds are good and large; we slept well. But unfortunately, the rest of the house does not have the appearance of the photos. Peeling plaster and clutter everywhere. The new B&B owner Joël cannot (yet) match the high score. Dinner and breakfast are overpriced. Breakfast consists of dry bread and cake from the supermarket. The fruit and other items were left uncovered in the fridge to be served again the next day. The dirty glasses and plates from the previous evening were still on the counter in the morning. The ant poison was next to… In short, there is still much room for improvement. We wish them success.

Beautiful rooms / appartments in a renovated farm house. Home made / local breakfast with a view into the large garden. Nicolas is a perfect host; a must is to join his offer for a dinner menue. The products are sourced from local suppliers and he is creating a three-course menue serving in the private group of other guests, or his family :) The quality as well as the atmosphere was the culinary (and human) highlight of any place we went during this trip.

Everything was amazing, and the staff were wonderful!

Nicolas is an excellent & very sympathetic host, cook & entertainer. The hotel is a very comfortable oasis with a nice garden & a large stone table outside, where guests from different nations & backgrounds enjoy the delicious meals together.

Lovely quiet location with parking. Nicolas was an excellent host and offered superb evening meals. He was also very knowledgeable about the history of Corsica, walks in the area and made recommendations for eating out in Corte. An added bonus was Nicolas's fluent English!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Maison San Giovanni while visiting Corte for hiking. The location is very green, quiet and with a safe private parking, but close to the city. The room was pleasant and clean. The best feature of this accommodation are the dinners cooked by the host from local products. The food and the company were outstanding!

Lovely quiet location just outside of the town. Breakfast is excellent and optional dinner is wonderful and a great way to meet other travelers. Being able to use the washing machine is also a treat. Nicolas is a wonderful host. Try to book room 4 or 5 upstairs. Nice and quiet with a great view out the window.

Set in the outskirts of Corte this Property was an excellent place to stay away from the bustle of this beautiful university town. Quiet and peaceful surrounded by forest and fields. Nicholas was an outstanding host provided an excellent breakfast and even cooked a delicious dinner one night.
