Overview
Casa Petra is a guest house located 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Corte and 20 minutes' walk from the citadelle. Open since 2016, guests can make use of a furnished terrace. At the guest house, every room has a wardrobe, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, kettle and hairdryer. Certain rooms at Casa Petra have a terrace. Bed linen and towels are provided. The host was very welcoming and friendly, even coming to meet us at the station without being asked, and carrying some of our luggage back on his moped. Location is good for train travellers, just a short flat walk from the station. The accommodation is very clean and cosy, with nice outside space. Corte town is beautiful, great centre for eating and drinking, and of course as a base for great walking.

“Comfortable stay with a very thoughtful host.”
It was very clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Our bus arrived late in Corte and the host actually waited for us and gave us a lift go the house. We really appreciated that, as it was late and we were tired.

Nice private room, clean and with coffee/ tea. Stayed there over easter, the owners seem to have taken off themselves (which is fine). There is a deposit box for the keys.

Good location, close to the city center and train station. The apartment is cozy, clean and comfortable. We are quite satisfied with the bed, the mini-kitchen, and the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay!

“Delightful bolt hole in the mountains”
What a delightful little bolthole, everything you would need in a self contained unit, clean and comfortable. Situated a 5 minute walk from the station and 10-15 minutes from the centre. Excellent location. Pascale the host was unbelievably helpful, collected us from the station in the rain, made excellent restaurant recommendations and took us to a difficult to get to site when we had no other transport options, we really couldn’t ask for more. Word of warning - if you do not speak French Google translate is your friend and we’ll worth the effort!
