Exceptional hotel with super-friendly staff, superb choice and quality of food at the breakfast and dinner buffet. Excellent and good VfM choice of wines for dinner. Free bubbly for breakfast and a glass each upon arrival and check-in. Very comfy and homely "common" areas. Superp pools, one with an rough circumference of 100m ( heated) one of similar size unheated. Pools were never too full with swimmers and at 1.20m depth very safe. Comfortable sunloungers (German beachtowel principle applies here, LOL). Rooms very well furnished and beds super comfortable, views from balcony stunning. Excellent room cleaning service. There's a gym room and a sauna in a separate annex with superb views over the north beach and the sea. BUT ABOVE ALL: The white sand beaches to the north and south of the hotel and the Sahara-like sand dunes are out of this world!!! The Riu Palace and another Riu are fortunately the only hotels and buildings here, so one feels rather privileged. I have used booking.com for over 15 years and the Riu Palace is the very best I ever booked!!

“Loveley hotel”

Excellent

The location is beautiful, a natural paradise, in spite of a permanent wind there. Very calm, tranquil place, safe sandy beach with sun chairs and umbrellas to rent. The hotel has pools with sun lodges but it’s rather crowded to relax really. I found beach was the only place to be in peace. The food is fine, lots of choices and you find enough things that you like. WiFi is strong, video conferences went without problems. Parking was also enough (End of March), there were parking places along the road before the hotel. You also have shop for amenities (Spar) 5 min walk distance from the hotel. The only thing I disliked was the thin iron window in the room, built in the concrete walls, not preventing wind from blowing in and making the entire room chilly. Remember that there is no conditioner there, no way to warm up the room. I slept badly in the cold room with wind sound like in a horror movie.

“A retro hotel in a relatively remote but beautiful, location”

Breakfast included a huge buffet with a lot of variety. The bedrooms are a good size and comfortable but you will feel transported back to the 1980s - furnishing as with the rest of the hotel, is somewhat retro. There is no heating in the hotel but there are some portable fan heaters at reception- take warm clothes if the weather is cooler than usual. The pool is warm and there is a small gym should you feel the need. Pool service is fine but not exactly rapid. The beaches around the hotel are beautiful.

It is right in the beach, amazing view from the sea view rooms , free sauna, lovely heated pool.

Lovely Hotel in a wonderful location the dunes are amazing, great happy helpful staff, the terrace and pool area really nice quite modern looking, inside the hotel it has an old Spanish charm, the whole premises were clean and tidy, and comfortable, the food was ok but we stayed 3 nights and it was more or less the same menu each night perhaps they try to make you try the speciality restaurants, if you looking to lie by the pool or beach would be an excellent choice .
