“Getaway stay”
The location is incredible, right on the beach, with great places nearby like restaurants and gas stations, and plenty of peace and quiet. It's an ideal hotel to spend a night or two, and rest.

“Our stay was enjoyable regardless of a few minor things.”
We were originally put into a room that did not meet expectations, but the staff was great about getting us moved. The pool could have been cleaner, but understandably there were a lot of people, and most of those people were coming off of the beach. This was my second time staying, and I was satisfied with it after having been moved.

Incredible value for the money. While it's not a luxurious hotel, we were as confortable as we could ask for. Customer service was always availible and helpful. View was nice.

“WONDERFUL LOCATION”
FANTASTIC location being VERY close to the beach and the must-see Aircraft Carrier Museum. And a lot of wind did NOT affect the comfort in the room. An upscale hotel nearby offered take-away quality food at reasonable prices and a liqour shop nearby offered excellent beer and wine - so it was NO problem that other restaurants were closed due to off-season, Have a good time there...

“You get what you pay for. Best quality is that it's right on the beach. Would not stay here again.”
Hotel is right on the beach which was what we wanted. Getting there was a little tricky due to freeway construction. USS Lexington and Aquarium were within walking distance. Both absolutely fabulous attractions. Three good places to eat within walking distance. Hotel staff were very curtious.

“A good price isn't always a good deal”
We stayed here because we were in the city to tour USS LEXINGTON, right beside hotel basically. Hotel is old and rundown. Some attempts are being made to update but it needs so much more. The room reserved had a door that didn't close, went back to office and asked to be moved. Next room the bathroom sink was leaking, 3rd room we stayed in didn't have the kitchenette we wanted. The bed was ok on one side, sagged on the other, sheets and towels clean. This place is in a very sketchy area, if it had not been booked with no refund option we would not have stayed. The girl at front desk was accommodating and very apologetic.

“Budget friendly”
It was right on beach, I was in a truck and trailer and had plenty of parking space. Of course it was the off season. Nice restaurant just 5min walk down the beach.it is a older motel but was clean and served my needs for the night

Room booked wasn't cleaned nor ready. Room got had a magget on the "clean sheets" and hairs on the "clean pillowcases". Staff ok....location was great! Still enjoyed 1st time at the beach.

“This was my worst experience with a hotel ever!”
Priceline should never have endorsed or booked for this shack. The room was filthy, sheets unchanged, sand on floor and the door wouldn’t lock. I felt unsafe and left and had to pay for a decent hotel.
