I had a really good time at the R Hotel, with the hospitality of the owner and staff being the highlight of the trip. Even with a language barrier the staff were able to help me get my autobus back to Tirana and also laundered my clothes. The room and facilities were clean and meet the expected standard of a hotel. There are a variety of good restaurants close by and you are at the foot of the Osumi Canyons and caves in the area.

“Nice host & accomodation”
Nice, clean accomodation. Everything was fine. Local breakfast was also good. It's a good starting point for Osumi Canyon as you will be as close as possible and can start before all the other tourists from Berat.

“Highly recommend”
The hotel is very clean, modern and tidy. The hotel owner and his wife are charming, pleasant and ready to help at any time (we arrived very late, the hotel owner waited for us and even helped us order a pizza for the hotel). We enjoyed everything very much. well done.

“Nice place to stay, and good starting point for the Osumi canyon.”
This hotel is really nice! It’s 10 minutes walk from the center, even if you have to walk up a bit to the hill where the hotel is. The breakfast is ok. And the maneger is so kind and helpful!

The owner is really amazing, he helped me in managing my booking as he agreed to change the date , also he took me with his friends to the Usomi canyon and waited for me.

“Comfortable and quiet place, close to city center”
The hotel is located close to city center, it was easy to find it. Our room was really big with the view to city center. The hotel is very quiet place. Staff was friendly and he smiled every time we met him. There is no restaurant, but if you want to eat great meals for good price, we recommend Turhani restaurant, which is only few steps from R hotel. Only thing which we do not like so much were breakfasts. There were fried dough, jam, cheese, boiled egg and something like lard. It was not much tasty for us. Coffee was for extra charge of 100 LEK.

the hotel was new build the room was very spacious with lager and comfortable bed lot lights coming from two windows bathroom was big and the shower was perfect
