A very interesting place in the middle of nature. You wake up and while drinking coffee in your villa, you can watch the Toucan family lead their way of life nearby. The owners of the villa are as friendly and sociable as possible, Brian is a great person. Inside the villa there is everything you need and a good kitchen. We spent two nights here and celebrated the New Year.

The combination of a fantastic location (in the middle of the jungle, with animals all around), excellent premises, and last but not least the World's greatest and most hospitable hosts (Gail & Brian) made this our first stay in Costa Rica truly unforgettable. We would love to come back someday, and now that we have done a lot of the "must do's" on the South Western Pacific Coast of the country, we might just take Gail up on her offer to join her yoga classes, or go for another crazy ride with Brian in his buggy to enjoy the abundant local waterfalls.

everything was marvelous! Beautiful property, truly amazing hosts and great location. After staying all over the country this was, by leaps and bounds, the highlight of our trip!

We had such a great time! Everything was perfect and as described. We felt home far away. Such great hosts and sad, we had only a short stay in this excellent accommodation. We would definitely re-book if we could fly again to CR. Pura Vida at its best!!!

The hosts, Brian and Gail, are super friendly and very nice people to meet. They know how to find the perfect balance between being there for a nice chat or advice and giving space for some peace and quiet. The villas and facilities are very well maintained and everything has been thought about and taken care of.

“Best place to stay in Costa Rica”

Mango tree villas are not only the best place where we stayed in Costa Rica but one of best places we've stayed in, and we travel a lot! The place has this vibe that you really feel good, just want to stay and rest. From the yoga deck you see the nature around you, with the sea at the end of the valley... at sunset the colours are beautiful, the birds sing... you feel you're dreaming! The villas are very comfortable, good bed, excellent shower, nice kitchen and is absolutely amazing how they manage to have everything so clean! It seems everything is new! The area around the pool, which they call the rancho is super nice! Place to eat overlooking the jungle... well... I really recommend a visit because you feel what it is to live in the wilderness (green all around, tucanos in the trees...) but you feel 100% comfortable and safe The owners can't be more kind! Gale and Brian are super hosts! They go the extra mile to make you feel good

Amazing stay at Mango Tree Villas. The owner, Gail is extremely welcoming and kind. The Villa was splendid, immaculate with everything we needed. Beautiful view on the tropical forest. Really nice swimming pool area with access to a fantastic yoga studio overlooking the sea. Highly recommended, a gem place to explore the local mangrove, Isla de Caño and the Parque Nacional Marino Ballena. Thank you Gail

“Wonderful, clean, comfortable apartment with perfect hosts.”

Having stayed in several places around Costa Rica and the whole family agreed that this was our favourite. Gail was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was spotless and very well equipped. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals. The beds were comfortable and the AC and wifi worked well. The grounds were beautiful, we very much enjoyed the pool area. The breakfast was excellent- particularly the baking!

Mango Trees is just such an amazingly beautiful place to stop. It is set right in the jungle, the villas are beautiful and the breakfast amazing. Gail and her daughter felt like friends by the time we left ( after just two nights!). I cannot recommend this place highly enough....when I am back in England and having a busy day I will imagine myself back at Mango Trees. Thanks for letting us stay in your part of paradise x

The breakfast was amazing, the host were super friendly and engaging. Our daughters loved the yoga class. The location and views are simply stunning with a beautiful garden hosting many colorful birds.

Everything. All the places we stayed on our trip were great, but this one was the best. When it comes down to hospitality it can’t get any better. Gail and Bryan are wonderful people and it was so much fun just sitting on the beautiful terrace chatting to them and watching the toucans in the trees. everthing super clean and well maintained. Kids loved the pool. We would return in an instant. Actually- when planning another CR vacation we would try to make Mango tree part of our itinerary even when our plans would be to explore other parts of the country - it’s a must!
