“Incredible views and great base for dugong watching”

Incredible views of the river and a lovely place for a quiet, relaxing stay (very different to Coron town). Large, clean rooms and a great balcony. Staff were helpful in organising airport transfers and the local boat trip for an hour to see fireflies and plankton. Very good base for the incredible dugong tours.

The view, the serenity and the friendly staff! They also had good wine! Close to the airport.

The owner,Judith, is very welcoming and helpful in all situations. Don't be afraid to ask her anything. The kitchen staff were fantastic. It's a very peaceful location, away from hussle and bussle, overlooking the river. It's 15 minutes from the airport, so perfect for a few nights.

“Book it - great find”

Beautiful accommodation with the most stunning view of the river. Staff were all lovely. Food was also lovely. I got a pick up from Coron and dropped off to the airport after in a lovely air conditioned car.

Breakfast was included and the menu was pretty good. An excellent view from the restuarant, it's lovely and quiet, beautiful green scenery and fresh air. Juditha and her Mother are excellent hosts and very helpful.

Great location and perfect stay. They even have a peer to pick you up. They propose breakfast to go if you have to leave early! The room was cleaned every time you did not put the sign on the bed.

- quiet - nice view

Lovely view over the river from the restaurant deck. Room is spacious and clean with lots of storage space :) Make sure to book the tour to see the fireflies and bioluminescent plankton :) For people wanting to go diving, this resort is a partner of the dugong dive center. As such they come pick you up at the jetty of the hotel which is really convenient. Bonus it’s a beautiful ride in the river surrounded by mangroves to reach the dive center :)

“A peaceful relaxing retreat”

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is incredibly peaceful, set right by the river, although it’s worth noting that the rooms themselves don’t have a river view. That said, the open restaurant area overlooks the water and is a lovely place to relax. Judith and her team were exceptionally welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious, private and very comfortable. It’s easy to rent a scooter, which made exploring the northeast a real highlight, especially Lakdayan Beach and the sandbar. One of the standout experiences was the night river tour to see the fireflies, made even more special by the incredible stargazing along the way. We also thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food prepared by the team. Overall, a fantastic few days in a beautiful, tranquil setting. Highly recommended.

“Perfect for nearby the airport and a break from the crowds of Coron town!”

The owner and staff were so so lovely, amazing service, fantastic food and also great activities to do if you ask they will arrange private boat to take you out from the river down the path and out to islands and also to see the fireflies and stars at night which was truly incredible.

It’s a 10/10 for us! This is our 2nd time visiting Riverhouse . I came last year with my husband and this time, we brought our 2 adult kids. The place is remote but Ms. Judith kindly organised a driver whenever we wanted to go somewhere. She also helped organising tours , and Riverhouse has the best cook! Rooms are spacious, comfortable and has jungle feel with all the birds coming around . There will be for sure, a 3rd visit in the future! Thank you for the warmest welcome.

“Average”

Beautiful place to be, but lots of bugs in the rooms, dinner was not great and there was a lot of shouting going on in the place. We were told the wifi would only work in the dinning are which we were fine with but it didnt even work there. It was a good place to be to go on. the Dugong trip though.

We stayed for one night in March 2024 and we had a lovely time, it was great to have peace and quiet after some busy days in el nido and coron. We took out a kayak in the day and it was one one the best spots as there was no one around and we got to see some great things. In the evening Judith organised for us to go out to see the fireflies and plankton, (we didn’t have high hopes for this as other places had offered this on other trips and there was nothing) this was a magical experience as again we were the only ones on that stretch of water and we saw both very clearly.
