“Perfect”

We loved staying at Discovery Island. From getting the boat transfer to the resort, the staff were absolutely efficient and courteous and the room was fantastic. The staff were able to match my request on arrival with no problem at all. We ate most of our meals at the resort and the food arrived promptly and was delicious. The room had stunning views of the ocean and the sunsets were just spectacular. It is a quiet retreat from the business of Coron. I would highly recommend staying here.

We only had one night in our schedule in Coron and loved this place. We arrived just after dark and they sent their boat to collect us which took the stress out of finding the hotel. Our room was clean and tidy, bathroom super and we ate in the restaurant which was great too. Next day we had a lovely breakfast, spent a few hours by the pool and again, took their boat back to town for a transfer to the airport. Above all else the staff were super friendly and helpful. Big shout to Eileen who looked after us really well and organised our transfer. Definitely recommended and next time we will stay longer. Thank you.

Beautiful resort just outside coron town which is nice because the town itself is quite dirty and noisy. You do have to get the boat to and from the resort so can't walk into town but to be honest this adds to the experience and the staff and boatmen are very nice and accommodating. The staff were very helpful at organising transfer to the airport and doing laundry. The pool is lovely and views from the hotel are beautiful.

The Resort is in the middle of the nature, it’s amazing. The service is excellent, the structure functional and the terrace with the pool is amazing. The staff is nice, the restaurant is very good. Boats to Coron included.

A quirky, adorable little retreat just 10 minutes boat ride from the vibrant Coron Town. Great facilities, super friendly staff, and lovely swimming pool! Free kayaks for use around the bay.

“Best experience in Coron”

Ok, when you go to the Phillipines, it is very different to the EU. So Discovery is the best experience you can have. It's on its own island, and the boat taxi is brilliant- the boys on the boat, JM and Justin all of them are so kind and helpful. Jha runs the place brilliantly, Rose is a brilliant cook, and Gloria gives a great Physio/massage for as long as you want (2.5 hours!!!) It is so relaxing and peaceful you won't believe it. The staff are helpful, kind and friendly providing everything you need. If like to walk, its only 20 minutes to town. We absolutely 💯 ❤️ everything, and would love to go back. The WiFi works very well. I was concerned about the other reviews- dont be, its the best place to stay in Coron Town free kayaking also. Prices for food and drinks are very good, so you dont need to get much from the shop if anything. It isn't what westerners have in Florida, but I dont want to go there - i want to be in the Phillipines!

Nice Pool, free kayaks, comfortable and social dining area with pool table and books, good massages avail onsite, and we loved our large detached villa room with a balcony, water view and hammock. The staff were all amazing, attentive and good communicators. Food was good at the onsite restaurant.

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN CORON! The staff were all so lovely and the whole place was magical. Pool was lovely and clean, great facilities, and there was beautiful view over the sea from wherever you were. A unique experience staying on the island with easy access to Coron town via the boat provided or walking around through the mangroves to a little bridge if you wanted to! Friendliest staff all with genuine smiles and laughter :)

Beautiful place with the right amount of comfort in a mangrove-edged island full of wildlife. Marvellous food in the restaurant. Free pool, boat service to the mainland. Helpful staff. Highly recommended.
