Pohutukawa Chalets are four comfortable holiday homes with stunning island views. The chales are set across four acres of beautiful hillside, just a short walk away from secluded beaches. Each two-story house has a kitchen and a deck to enjoy the sunset. The classic A-frame buildings have vintage fittings and simple furniture. Enjoy activities such as fishing, kayaking, tramping and mountain biking, or just relax and enjoy the views across the bay. Driving Creek Railway and Potteries is 3.9 km from the chalet. The nearest airport is Auckland Airport, 170 km from the property.

“Tranquil location with a great view”
Location was great, very quiet with a lovely view. Bed was very comfy, and the room felt cosy, especially as we were on the top floor of the a frame with the sloping walls.

“Nice & relaxing”
As someone who hates night diving I found location a bit challenging to get to but my car had broke down on route so I arrived just before midnight & found the drive a bit of a challenge from Hamilton. I’m sure though day time driving would have been fine.

Beautiful spot with lovely views...easy check in. Nice outdoor area at the bigger unit. Units are well equipped with cook wear etc. Our grandchildren loved being able to play outside on the grassed areas. A special little spot on the Coromandel.
