Location and friendly staff

We stayed in the Studio cabin. So comfortable and private. You would never know it was there. The beach was right there. We slept with the door open and listened to the waves.

The host was just fabulous and very welcoming. She double booked a site and then instead of cancelling us she rung around motels to look for accommodation for two couples. After no avail she had two cabins that we could go in even though they were for big groups. She even gave us a a lovely gift for the inconvenience. Lovely place very clean and fresh rooms. Fresh amenities very clean best I have seen in all my camping years around the nation. Awesome walk to kauri tree as well. Very peaceful and the bird life amazing.

“Turned out ok with some help of the manager”

Manager was helpful and negotiated a better cabin when we pointed out that the bed was way too short for me and I just a tad over 6 foot. However in a beautiful location.

Beautiful setting. Quiet. We are new to cabin life so the toilet and shower block was a bit challenging. We didn't have sheets or towels but we were able to hire some for a small fee. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
