“Awesome view, balcony, quiet location, great hiking”

A very nice room, with a great view, in Corniglia, the least crowded of the Cinque Terre towns. The host, Cinzia, was very helpful, keeping in touch on WhatsApp, meeting us on the street to show us where to park and making a dinner reservation for us at a fantastic restaurant (Cecio).

Incredibly nice hosts. They picked us up from the station and prepared a birthday surprise for my girlfriend. Stunning sea view. It was just perfect.

Impeccably clean and a fabulous host!! It was my partners birthday and we walked in to see a birthday banner and balloons. A real personal touch that was hugely appreciated after a long day trekking from Monterosso. We couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable sleep, memory foam mattress and pillows, full facilities, snacks, a welcome bottle of wine. Such wonderful touches that made the stay really comfortable. Highly recommend!!

“Perfect Room with an Amazing View of the Sea”

Amare Il Mare is more than a charming, comfortable, room with an amazing view of the sea. It is an inspired concept - a dream that Cinzia, the proprietor conceptualised and runs extremely well. It is centrally located - near the bus stop to the Corniglia train station, the restaurants like Cecio and Bakery, the village, and the St. Peter’s Catholic Church. I really appreciate the super clean room and bathroom. Cinzia thought about what a guest would need such as a working air-conditioner, a small refrigerator, a working water heater (that is easy to operate), an easy-to-use clothes steamer, a small safe, and coffee/chocolate maker. The room also comes with a thoughtful toiletry kit, bedroom slippers, tapis for the beach, wine with glasses for toasting, naturale and frizzante water, cornetto and other snacks. This property has a lot of amenities sometimes better than a 5-star hotel. I mean, the bathroom even has Chormotherapy lights. Cinzia and husband, Roberto even picked us from and to the train station which is really thoughtful. Thank you for the lovely stay! We hope we can return again to this property.

Wow!! We had the most amazing time at Amare Il Mare. Cinzia and her family are such kind and wonderful hosts. The room is beautiful with lots of added extra touches that made our stay perfect and the view from the terrace is stunning. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us Cinzia. You really go out of your way to make your guests feel special and we really appreciated everything. We stayed in the starfish room and the bed and pillows were amazing. I slept better than at home! There is everything you need in the small kitchen to make breakfast and even simple dinners. We loved Corniglia so much. It is quieter than the other villages in Cinque Terre and there are plenty of places to eat and drink. I would definitely recommend anyone to book with Cinzia and stay here! Thank you!

The view and the balcony! The location is v close to the station for exploring the other towns, just have to climb many steps. Have a parking spot too - which helped cos not many parking location

The owners are very friendly. They drove me from the station to the property. The property is very close to the stairs to/from the station and the shuttle bus stop. Plus, from the balcony, you have the amazing view of Manarola, embraced by the sea!

Beutfully thought out property which has been renovated very tastefully. A huge amount of love and care has gone into its design and the many little extras they include to make your stay perfect.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The wine room was cozy and beautifully decorated. every detail was added with such care, love, and savoir-faire. You can feel the personal touch in every corner. We were warmly welcomed and very well assisted throughout our stay, with thoughtful recommendations and clear communication. The cherry on top was the breathtaking view of the sea, which made every moment even more special. It is a truly perfect place to relax and feel at home.

“Lovely apartment and a great host”

The host Cynzia was extremely kind and helpful - picking us up and dropping us off and helping with all our bags to and from the station. The apartment is spotlessly clean and the view is spectacular.

I liked the industrial design of the room, which had plenty of hooks. The room is tiny, but the owner placed everything you need in it tastefully. Communication with the owner was OK. We enjoyed ourselves there.

The apartment is situated at the top of the village but a short distance away from the main cafes and shops so it's quite quiet. The view from the balcony was wonderful. Cinzia has clearly put a lot of effort into decorating the apartment and looking after guests and provided plenty of snacks for aperitivi and breakfast as well as a bottle of wine.

“A piece of paradise with an incredible view and the best hosts!”

What an absolutely gorgeous apartment tucked away in an alley five minutes walk from the centro in Corniglia. We stayed in the Starfish Room with an incredible terrace and amazing view over the water and looking towards Manarola. It had a balcony at the back and a small but very functional kitchen and cosy breakfast spot. Bed & bathroom were great. Very tastefully decorated. Cinzia, the host was so warm, friendly & welcoming. She & her husband collected us from the station so we didn’t have to climb the 362 stairs and she also surprised my husband for his birthday by decorating the room in such a fun way and leaving a bottle of sparkling for us. We adored her and she made our stay perfect! Breakfast provisions were welcomed as was all the recommendations she gave us prior. I highly recommend you stay here! Close to the start of the Corniglia- Manarola hike, the station and bus and to great restaurants.
