Our stay in Corniglia Our accommodation was just beautiful,  large room with king bed. Tea and Coffee with kettle. Wardrobe for clothes, air-conditioning television. Beautiful large bathroom. Our accommodation was at an elevated position but views were spectacular over the ocean. Our host Cristina/Francesca was lovely.

Location was perfect, host is super nice.

There is a techique to open the front door that you need to master. Not straightforward the first couple of times. The tap in the bathroom goes against the mirror.

What a fantastic stay! This accommodation was absolutely perfect for our family. The location was ideal, the view was stunning, and the property owner was so friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the clear instructions with pictures. As if that wasn't enough, she even made us a dinner reservation at her restaurant, which also had a stunning view and amazing food! Highly recommend!

“Lovely and welcoming room with private terrace overlooking the ocean.”

The room was comfy and lovely decorated in an ocean theme. It was clean and welcoming.

The accomodation is far from what is advertised, and I truly believed it was a scam when I arrived. We paid for a "Deluxe double room with partial sea view" and the room didn´t even have a window(!!). Where is the partial sea view? A room below ground without a window is nothing but a basement. There was a small window in the bathroom above 2 m with a handle that is barely reachable. The place stinks to humidity and the shower had mold on the walls. This is unhealthy, and unacceptable, after paying 157 euros. For checkout, we were told to leave the keys on a table inside the house, and leave without locking. This is extremely weird to do in a town full of tourists. We were asked to leave the city taxes in cash on the table, which is even weierder. I refuse to be held accountable for whatever happens in an unlocked house after I leave. I offered the owner/host to show her our IDs in person and pay the taxes in exchange for (at the very least) a payment receipt, but she refused. After we left I offered an electronic transfer but she also refused. I have stayed in many places, but this was by far one of the worst experiences. Save yourself the stress and book somewhere else.

“Nice but overpriced”

The room was nice and tidy, but that musty smell was just nasty and so unhealthy! Also, dealing with the limited warm water is quite a challenge - you only get 5-5 minutes for 2 people to shower before it turns cold. Despite the well-decorated room, I'd rather have a place with fresh air and a longer shower, especially after a whole day of walking and paying nearly 150 euros per night...

The location is superb. It is next to the church though, and the bell tolls throughout the night, so did wake us up sometimes.

Very cute, clean and comfortable apartment with fantastic view from the terrace. Perfect for a couple, tight with a group of four but we only stayed one night so was ok for us. Great location, close to all the little laneways.

The room and terrace were beautiful and spotlessly clean. Lovely fittings and furniture, really comfortable bed and Christina has provided a fridge and glasses and cups for drinks. We feel very lucky the room was available for us, it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Cinque Terre from the heart of Corniglia.
