Such a lovely warm welcome, from a wet and grey day into a beautiful home with an open fire and cuddles from Balou the resident golden retriever. Delicious home cooked dinner and a comfortable nights sleep. Just what we needed after our long road trip!

We travelled during a particularly hot day but the property was kept cool because of the ancient stone walls. The owners were very welcoming and hospitable. We highly recommend you book the dinner there. It was a 3 course meal cooked by the owner themselves. It was the perfect bed & breakfast & dinner.

We had a great two nights at La Maison au Puits. The highlight was the dinner, it was a really unique experience with exceptional food. The accommodation was a great base for exploring Cordes-Sur-Ciel and the local area. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect. Breakfast was generous and delicious: bread/pastries /juice etc Our hosts, Niko and Christianne, were really lovely, helpful, generous, and just a tiny bit eccentric 😍 They did everything in their power to make our stay comfortable and fun. Their house was beautiful - aged and atmospheric but perfectly arranged to blend the old with the new and comfortable, and the bed was so very comfortable! We had an amazing meal in their garden which was the icing on the cake.

We stayed there for 8 nights. Great place. Very beautifuly decorated. Nice comfy room. Great breakfast. Don't miss the excellent dinner cooked by Niko, the owner.

Our in-house 3 course dinner was delicious and beautifully presented, accompanied with an excellent house red wine. Nico could not have been more helpful in his advice for our trip to Sarlat after check-out.

The tiny village and house itself were so pretty and well preserved, our room was very comfortable with a lovely view of the village. Unfortunately we were not able to experience Nico’s cooking but the two local restaurants he recommended were amazing, as were the tips for things to see along our route.
