Albeit adjacent to major crossing junction the rooms were surprisingly quiet. Felt very welcome even though we arrived very wet in motorcycle clothing.

Location for walking the Via Francigena was perfect. Don’t be put off by the exterior when you get there. I sat at the front in the sun and had a drink from the adjacent bar while waiting for the hotel hates to open at 4. I think you can get in earlier if needed via the bar. The hotel entrance is at the rear. Large clean refurbished room and bathroom. Dinner is not served on the weekends there is a pizza dispenser nearby. I was there on a Sunday night

An excellent supper. Lovely to have a bar and a dining area right in the hotel. Lovely welcoming owners/staff.

The best thing about this hotel is its location on the Via Frangigena. Dinner is provided and that was good and the staff were friendly but the facilities are quite tired and not super comfortable for the price.

Great staff and dinner and breakfast were provided which is really helpful when walking the Via Francigena.

Really nice staff who are very helpful. Decent sized rooms with space for clothes. Offer simple dinner if required. Convenient in the middle of the market town.

Breakfast was good. Dinner was a little disappointing with lack of choice but the restaurant was very quiet. Room was very comfortable and the waitress in the restaurant was very helpful and efficient.

Well positioned on Chemin des Dames, flexible on arrival times. Offered a good evening meal and breakfast - as well as having access to a kettle. Able to provide dry and secure storage for my bicycle

Isabella made our stay. She is helpful, friendly and charming. She happily served us beer and, later, dinner in the restaurant was really lovely.

“Disappointed with policy and manageress attitude”

The hotel is closes on Sunday so meet and greet nit an issue. The physical experience was fine but the price problem was very disappointing as was the attitude from the manageress. The issue was a pilgrim couple walking with us got the pilgrim discount as he booked directly with the hotel. Paid €80 bed and breakfast. I booked through Booking.com. I understand that might make ut difficult to match price but the hotel added €23 fir breakfast and saw ni reason to perhaps review the total paid as that is an extra not booked via the app. So i paid €112 for the sane service. €32 difference i thought was very disappointing! To add insult to injury, the booking.com confirmation email stated breakfast would be a €10pp add-on at which point the manageress claimed the app info was now wrong! Their iwn website states breakfast is €8pp! So a very poor effort in my opinion. Establishments listed in the pilgrim info guides and claiming to be pilgrim friendly should behave as if they are. While there may be some language issues at play I cant for a moment think that the issue was misunderstood.

Accomodation is on-route for pigrims walking the Via francigena and is pilgrim friendly. Restaurant was open for dinner and breakfast. The food on offer was good.
