Everything is actually perfect, staff, food, drinks, cocktails, music, animation team, cleanliness, the beach, literally everything

I really enjoyed my stay here, and it’s definitely a place I’d love to visit again. The sea and coral reefs are beautiful, the beach is very well organized, and the quality of both the food and the service was excellent. Although the breakfast variety could be a bit wider, the quality was always consistent and very good. Special thanks to Gedo, Mohamed, and Amilla from the animation team for their great energy and friendliness. A big thanks as well to Ibrahim the barista definitely go to him if you want one of the best cocktails here. Also, many thanks to Chef Hossam, and to Hamdy and Youssef in the restaurant, who were always welcoming and smiling while serving guests.

“A nice resort with a wonderful reef”

A well-maintained resort with a magnificent reef right off the shore. Peace and quiet, with almost no children. No problem getting sunbeds, and the staff are unobtrusive and helpful. Close to the airport. A beautiful 2-kilometer promenade around the bay begins near the hotel.

We were absolutely thrilled with the location – Coraya Bay proved to be the perfect place for snorkeling – both for adults from the pier and for children from the beach in shallow water. The resort was divided into many smaller areas, with numerous pools, bars, etc. All the staff members were very kind and helpful and treated the children nicely. The Aquapark for children was well designed, everything was functional and clean, and there were plenty of lifeguards watching over the children.

Incredible value for money at this lovely hotel. Staff could not do enough for us, food was excellent with great variety and quality. Room was comfortable, plenty of loungers by the pool even though the hotel was full. Great facilities with a gym where all the equipment actually works. My suggestion is to add a small pizza oven to the outside BBQ and please add more cereal varieties for breakfast. A good quality muesli would I am sure be appreciated by guests. Also add a orange squeezing machine and/or other fresh squeezed juice options. The current juice machines are terrible.

“Very good for snorkelling, great intimate sized resort with good value and lovely staff”

It’s always difficult when going to a new country to provide a comparison review when different countries have different standards. Starting with Marsa Alam itself - It was built out of a desert, but if the surrounding resorts are typical then they have to ship sand in - so it is not a typical sand/beach holiday. - It’s newer than Sharm and Hurgada and therefore less wear and tear. - Currently resorts are spread out which is good. There are clusters… - If you’re into snorkelling or scuba diving which is a reasonable percentage, then you need to be aware of the relatively higher winds that Marsa can experience which means piers can be closed and you can only swim from the beach. - However the sea and the weather is good - the air temperature didn’t drop below 22 during the day and the sea temperatures probably not cooler than 23/24. - Marsa is ideally situated if you want to combine with Valley of the Kings - which is 4-5 hrs away, or a trip down the Nile. - Other than the resorts, and the international airport, there’s not much to do - Port Ghalib has a tourist market and restaurants next to the sea, you have to venture further afield where you’ll have transport costs - and Uber isn’t apparently operating in the area - no doubt as it’s somewhat isolated - when we did a Dolphin trip we saw only 1 town/village in the whole hours’ drive. None of the above was any concern for us, except for the wind - which in December probably closed the pier for 40% of the time. Now onto the resort - Jaz Neo Reef is the smallest of the 4 Jaz resorts, but that suited us the best. We prefer not massive sprawling resorts - you get to know the staff, it’s a more intimate resort. - You can use the facilities of other resorts but I think it depends on what and how busy it is. So for instance I think you can use the tennis courts, probably the pools etc - There is a water park but that’s not included in Neo Reef - not sure whether it’s bundled in other resorts or not.

We had a full sea view from our room. A very large bed, but the quilt was not big enough. We liked the closeness of the jetty and access to the reef. There were plenty of sunbeds available. The 3 pools were very good. The hotel was a smaller size which suited us. The staff were excellent and always smiling.

Everything It was so great!! We will definitely be back!

“Even Better the Second Time – Our Home by the Red Sea 🌴💙”

This was our second stay at this wonderful hotel, and once again it felt like coming home. The atmosphere is so relaxing and friendly that we immediately felt at ease from the moment we arrived. We were thrilled to meet old friends and familiar faces among both the staff and guests, and together we enjoyed a truly unforgettable holiday. We also noticed great improvements in cleanliness and in the quality of the food — everything was spotless and delicious (although we did miss the chocolate pastry chef a little!). Despite the hotel being completely full, every single wish of ours was fulfilled. The team really makes every guest feel like royalty. There were 23 of us this time, and everyone was absolutely delighted. It was even better than last year! We already miss you all and can’t wait to come back. Well maintained and clean, the staff were super lovely (with the exception of the poor bar staff who didn’t seem to know how to smile or make conversation 🤷🏼‍♀️) Good variety of entertainment and great location for various activities.

My husband and I had the most wonderful experience in this resort! The food was exceptional, the cleanliness was top notch, the service was excellent, the staff was extremely helpful and very polite. The whole experience was one of the best of our lives and we will always remember it!!

“Great stay!”

We just loved it. The hotel is cozy and not as huge and packed as the nearby ones. We stayed in the Junior suite 4016, a few steps away from the gorgeous beach. Rooms are huge. Beds are very comfortable. The food was very tasteful. Wifi is very fast in the room or at the reception. The staff made the stay wonderful as they were friendly, helpful and provided VIP service. Thank you for your kindness. We will be back inshaAllah.

The property is situated on Coraya bay. Snorkelling is a must. Bedrooms are of a good size with excellent air conditioning/ tea and coffee facilities. Clean beach towels brought to your rooms daily along with water. 3 pools with a pool bar Beach areas with plenty of sunbeds Restaurant staff are attentive, efficient and friendly. The food is of excellent quality with plenty of variety. The beach bar is a must for a late lunch. The reception team are helpful. A big thank you to Ahmed on reception for helping me with my queries, to our room attendant Mahmoud for his attention to detail. To the Front office manager and the hotel manager for our room allocation and for taking the time to meet with the guests. To the whole of the team for their perfect Egyptian hospitality and for making us feel perfectly at home. We will miss you!

Very nice place for vacations, very friendly staff

Everything was to our satisfaction. I travelled and booked separately from my mother, with different room categrories. Mahmoud, the receptionist kindly arranged for us to have rooms and balconies next to each other, which made our stay so much more nicer and more convientent in terms of communication. Thank you again! Very attentive staff!!! Although I am German myself, It would have nice to have a bit more international guests, as there were around 90% Germans in the resort.
