I’m extremely happy with my stay. Starting with the perfect location right inside the bay, with an amazing coral reef — I could just put on my wetsuit and walk a couple of minutes before getting into the water. The days were windy, but the bay kept us nicely protected. It’s also very close to the airport, which makes everything super easy and convenient. The room was big and spacious, with a lovely terrace. And let’s not even get started on the food — the quality and the variety for the price is absolutely outstanding. I’d really like to highlight how kind the staff are. They’re not just polite — I’ll say it again — they’re truly extremely kind. A special thank you to Mr. Harb for his professionalism.

What we liked Everything about our stay at Jaz Lamaya was a very positive surprise. The resort offers a warm, relaxed and extremely well-organized atmosphere, ideal both for couples and for families with children of different ages. The staff is exceptional: attentive, kind and always discreetly checking that everything is going well. This constant care makes guests feel truly welcome and clearly reflects a strong, efficient and involved management, with a great sense of teamwork throughout the resort. The cleanliness of the rooms and all common areas is outstanding. The attention to detail is impressive, from the beautifully maintained gardens to the furniture, decorations and overall ambiance. The food is rich, varied and of very good quality, with plenty of choice every day and careful preparation. The reef and sea are stunning, offering crystal-clear water and excellent snorkeling and diving directly in front of the resort. All members of our family felt genuinely cared for, with great activities for children and teenagers, including the kids club, water park and sports facilities. A special mention goes to Coraya Divers, highly recommended for their professional, safe and multilingual diving initiation. An excellent resort with sincere hospitality and a high standard of service. We would happily return.

Our stay at Jaz Lamaya was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine desire to make our stay unforgettable. Special thanks to Mostafa Nasser, the Assistant Front Manager, whose attentiveness and welcoming attitude made us feel at home right away. Mohamed Harb, the Front Manager, went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our visit was seamless, and Sherif Gamal, the Rooms Division Manager, was outstanding in handling our accommodations with such care and precision. We also want to highlight Ahmed Hussien, the Bar Manager, whose hospitality and attention to detail made every interaction a pleasure. His team was friendly and professional throughout. A massive thank you to the Morgana Restaurant for one of the best meals we’ve ever had! The chef personally checked on us multiple times and prepared a truly memorable dining experience. The waitstaff were kind, attentive, and incredibly professional. The resort is fully equipped with everything you can imagine! From multiple swimming pools, an aqua park, beautiful beaches with stunning underwater marine life great for snorkelling, yoga, beach volleyball, outdoor short exercise sessions, a gym, a very fun entertaining team at night, lots of small shops selling everything you may need. Also multiple bars and restaurants by the pool and everything you can imagine! The resort also has the best safari and diving boat tours in the area! Every staff member we encountered contributed to making our stay so special. Jaz Lamaya is a resort that truly understands the meaning of service and hospitality. We will absolutely return and recommend it to anyone visiting Marsa Alam!

In 2019 we stayed in the same area (Coraya Bay) at a different hotel of the same group (Dar El Madina) and we liked it, so this year we went back. We choose a different hotel only because we found a better offer, otherwise also the Dar El Madina is great (it is smaller and only a bit less close to the sea but indeed another awesome option). The hotel's proximity to the airport is ideal, especially when traveling with young children, saving you hours of travel time. The reef offers a fantastic variety of fish for both diving and snorkeling. We were very impressed with the food selection and quality. As vegetarians, we found plenty of options daily. The cleaning service was highly efficient, and all the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. While we weren't primarily interested in the animation, we did attend the night shows in the theater. The animation staff were remarkably involved and always smiling, which truly enhanced our enjoyment of the performances. The gardens are looked after everyday by a lot of staff and the attention to details shows, as gardens are spotless. We really liked the option to go to the Aqua Coraya park.

A Perfect Getaway – We’ll Definitely Be Back! This beautifully maintained hotel is set in a stunning bay, with a scenic seaside promenade perfect for walks. Snorkeling is easy right off the beach, and there’s even a dive club on-site for the more adventurous. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped — ideal for a relaxing stay. The resort features three lovely swimming pools with plenty of loungers; no need to rush or reserve. The food is great: the buffet is varied and enjoyable, and the à la carte restaurant rivals a top European brasserie in quality and atmosphere. The staff — from the pool and evening bars to the restaurants — are friendly, helpful, and multilingual. They’re present without being pushy, especially when it comes to tips, which makes you feel at home. The entire resort — rooms, gardens, bars — is kept spotlessly clean. The reception and PR officers are always available and eager to help. Entertainment runs all day and well into the evening, with something for every age. Fun pool games, darts, volleyball, and more are on offer daily. This place ticks all the boxes for a great holiday — we’ll definitely return!

“Notes from a Seasoned Family Man (Warning: long-read content)”

On WiFi: As of June 2025, no internet issues detected. The entire hotel, including the beach and even the pier, is perfectly blanketed with signal. The internet is responsive and fast — Reels, YouTube, Telegram load in a flash. I feel confident enough to state that this is one of the best WiFi setups I’ve ever encountered in a hotel of this size and guest volume. You won’t need a local SIM — you’ll be online everywhere within the resort. Each room features a dedicated access point from HPE Aruba’s enterprise-grade solution — your WiFi is in good hands. On the Beach: The promotional photos of the shoreline were misleading. Turns out, the entire beachfront along the hotel and sunbeds is permanently off-limits for swimming. Not temporarily — permanently. The shore area isn’t fit for swimming: it’s shallow, filled with sharp rocks and micro-mussels, and this side of the bay is technically a protected reserve. During low tide — which, in early June, happened daily — the receding water reveals a Mars-like landscape. Definitely not the time for Instagram photos — the view is bleak. So, no post-volleyball dives into the sea — you’ll be running for several minutes to the other side of the bay or to the pier, and then walking another 200 meters over the protected area just to get to swimmable water. Your alternative: a single shower column with four heads, awkwardly located in the middle of the beach. For 200 umbrellas = 400 loungers — one shower is laughably insufficient and poorly placed. Same goes for the only available toilet, also centrally located in the beachfront restaurant. To be fair, though — it’s impeccably clean and always smells fresh. That toilet alone earns a solid five stars. I actually liked the umbrellas: huge, low, thatched structures with tables and hooks for bags and clothes. On-demand, the helpful staff will bring soft cushions for your loungers — and drinks, all day long.

Excellent hotel facilities and entertainment program. Excellent staff very friendly very helpful and responsive. The Aqua is amazing. Food was great 👍 Room service is great. The staff at the restaurant were very helpful especially with the children and always offered help.

The oriental food was phenomenal!!! I haven't tasted such quality before...well done Chef!
