The staff did let me use the kitchen to cook and offer plenty of tea to help with the altitude which is quite intense here particularly when it is wet and rainy at night however you will need to ask for the tea during the day as it is definitely not 24/7 help and it did cause a lot of distress as a solo traveller

Hot showers, clean and warm bed and a decent breakfast. I was able to check in early and check out late which was greatly appreciated

Confortable beds, spacious bedroom, silence, good warm shower. Very good breakfast with juice, cereal, fruits, bread, eggs, hot beverages (chocolate, coffe, tea). Loundry service, friendly staff. Located a few blocks from the main square and restaurants. Very clean.

The staff were very warm and friendly on arrival and helpful throughout my stay. Room was spacious. I could leave my luggage the next day whilst on Isla del Sol. Breakfast was fresh and filling.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. It was clean. Nice hot shower. Comfortable bed and a very calm atmosphere. They also allowed me a late check out for no extra cost .

“TOURIST SCAM- THEY TRY TO STEAL YOUR MONEY”

This place is a tourist scam of the highest order. Our room was supposed to cost 138 BOB, but they tried to charge us 280 BOB, claiming it included a Booking.com commission. When we asked for proof, they showed that the commission was only 3 USD. They pressured us to pay in USD instead of Bolivianos, even though our booking was in Canadian dollars, and the manager was rude and lied about the commission being 100%. When we finally agreed to pay in USD, they suddenly “couldn’t” give change in USD and tried to force Bolivianos on us. They even insisted that “this is how it is everywhere in Bolivia — 1 USD = 15 BOB,” but I haven’t seen a single place like that. What a terrible way to start our Bolivian adventure. DO NOT STAY HERE. They manipulate payments and lie about commissions to overcharge tourists.

Location was fine, around 5 to 10 minutes from the lake and city center. Lovely staff and budget-friendly stay.

The first room I was in didn't have hot water so they moved me to a different one. The shower there was hot and decent pressure. The breakfast was great! The room was spacious enough. The staff were very kind and let me check out late since I had to wait for a bus. Location is good - close to the main plaza, feels safe.

I liked this hostel in general, but support from the receptionist was outstanding - she helped me to save the trip to Isla del Sol. Otherwise, I would miss it. And she helped me to sort out issues with the bus ticket to La Paz! Thank you very much!
