The accommodation is exceptionally well thought out and an ideal location to visit the East of the Coromandel peninsula. There is direct access afforded to the shore for walks and jogging. The hosts are simply delightful and could not have been kinder. In terms of value for money this is an exceptional property.

We stayed for two nights in the quiet, but picturesque Cooks Beach. Really comfortable room with good facilities (hot plate and microwave for cooking), a short walk to the river and the beach. Ideal location for visiting Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach but away from the crowds. John recommended an excellent restaurant in town (Kaizen) which we were grateful for after a long drive up.

“Well equipped unit in Cook's beach”

John the owner was very helpful with advice and sorting out the internet which wasn't working when we arrived. The apartment is small but well equipped and all we needed for two nights. The shower was very hot and had good pressure. The unit is in a residential area of Cook's beach and backs onto a waterway. Kayaks are available to use which was nice although we were never there at high tide!

Lovely location by the estuary. Little extra touches like cracked pepper and cooking oil and the breakfast for the first morning. We had everything we needed.

This is such a lovely place to stay. It backs onto a gorgeous river estuary and they have kayaks in the backyard that you can borrow in order to explore! Facilities were fantastic, very tastefully decorated and super comfortable. Very nice touch to provide breakfast. There is also a shovel waiting on thr garden patio to take to the hot beach :)

The place was beautifully set up with everything you need to feel right at home. John and Loraine are genuinely kind and caring hosts, which makes the experience even better. The neighbourhood is lovely and perfectly located.

This accommodation was great - comfortable and like the photos. Location was amazing and you could walk right out on to the beach. The host was very nice and they were able to help me out in a bind. Greatly appreciated and would stay again!
