“We had the most amazing time.”
Nick and Mary’s place was nothing short of spectacular. We absolutely loved the apartment, to be honest it was much more than we expected. Nestled at the edge of the mighty Vienne in a quiet cobbled street, surrounded by the most historic and amazing architecture. Fresh bread and croissants enjoyed with a pot of coffee on the terrace,only interrupted by birdsong. A perfect retreat to enjoy and explore the surrounding countryside. C’est Bon.

“Lovely relaxing stay in the most perfect location”
It was fabulous, a beautiful apartment, stylish and well equipped. Mary and Nick are the perfect hosts, home baked cake on arrival and more goodies too. Breakfast was lovely. It is in the most perfect location too. Easy parking. We will definitely be back

“Peaceful stay in a characterful property”
Beautiful property very well equipped with many original features. The location is stunning, on the river bank next to the iconic bridge. Excellent breakfast, lovely fresh croissants and bread daily with yoghurts and jams. Nick and Mary were amazing hosts, very helpful and kind. Highly recommend!

Lovely, friendly hosts. The rooms were spotless, with a lot of thought given to the little extra touches that make a difference. The locaton is excellent, at the end of the old bridge with an easy and scenic walk to all that Confelons has to offer. Yet, it is just a few minutes from the supermarket and train station. We spent three very pleasant days there.

“Just excellent, we absolutely loved it here”
This place was exceptional. A wonderful warm welcome by Mary and Nick. The accommodation was amazing, a beautiful 15/17th century property. Their attention to detail in catering for guest comfort is phenomenal. We were given lots of information about the area and places to go. The property is set on the banks of the River Vienne with great views and a lovely decking area to sit and bbq at the end of a beautiful rambling garden. A most relaxing and tranquil place to stay. Our thanks to Mary and Nick for making our stay so wonderful.

Fabulous spacious gite. Very clean and comfortable and well equipped with all home comforts. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely outdoor space to sit and eat if required plus access to a lovely deck by the river Vienne. Great location. Will definitely return.

“Fabulous stay!”
Absolutely fabulous stay at Pont Vieux Gites. Nick and Mary are the perfect hosts. They made us feel really welcome from the start and couldn't do enough for us. We arrived as guests and felt we left there as friends. The apartment is absolutely beautiful with so much character and even a log fire. Hopefully next time the weather will be a little warmer and we can make full use of the facilities outside and have a bbq next to the river. Can't wait to return there!
