The Manoir was in a stunning location just outside of Condom. The hosts were fantastic and Helene went out of her way to suggest places to visit in the area and restaurants to eat at in the area

A beautiful property, lovely seating areas outside and a well looked after garden and larger park area. The interior is just lovely with a large beautifully appointed room for breakfast and comfortable seating for relaxing in. A well equipped library with English books too. The property is well away from roads so is quiet and private. The owners are delightful, attentive without being intrusive. Helene spent the time to gave me maps and pointed out interesting places to visit, she is very passionate about the area. Breakfast was tasty and included home made preserves and cakes.

“Great Maison with very friendly and passioned owners”

We received a great and warm welcome from Jean and Helene when we arrived and we feel we arrived at home. The owners are passionate with there Maison and the place is great. We had booked a suite with a separate entrance with our bedroom in one of the towers. The accommodation was great, very clean, good Wifi, great bathroom and you could sit outside. Every evening at between 16 and 16.30 Helene served an apperitive. In the morning the breakfast was served and Helene made something special from her mothers cooking book. Jean came also around and made a nice talk with each of the guest and we talked specially about the F1. Helene spent time with all guest explaining the area and booked some great restaurants for us (Chez Vous, Citrus and Mr Guss). Regretfully we had to say goodbye after 5 nights and continued our journey. Jean and Helene, thank you very much for making our stay so memorable.

Amazing place and wonderful welcome and service from the hosts who go above and beyond.

Brilliant hosts - welcoming, engaging, helpful, providing lots of useful information, to say nothing of a pleasant conversation over aperitif in late afternoon. The property is a gorgeous chateau with a beautiful garden surrounded by woods. There is ample parking on site. The place is just a few kilometres from Condom, technically it is inside the municipal area. The hosts say animals abound, but I didn't see any, except birds. Lots of interesting places to visit around - Hélène will give you all the info. Only upon arrival did I find out that Hélène comes from one of the more famous Armagnac-producing families. The collection of bottles in the dining room is fascinating, you can buy some, and you may be offered a dégustation before you commit! Breakfast is excellent.

This beautiful place is like something from an old fairy story - with stunning gardens, and a huge room with views. Jean & Helene couldn’t do enough and made us feel so welcome

Super location and stunning property. Lovely room and extra facilities ie fridge, microwave and coffee making in separate communal area for guests if wanted. Hosts Jean and Helene were welcoming and very knowledgeable about area with plenty of sightseeing tips.

Lovely building in beautiful surroundings. Comfortable bed in a large room in a wonderfully restored old building. Tastefully decorated and furnished. Very helpful hosts in every way. 6.30 pm glass of wine and a chat was a nice touch. Armagnac free tasting was also much appreciated. Purchase from the family estate was also possible. Good breakfast also included. We will be back.

We loved the atmosphere, the rural location, the charming hosts and in particular Helene who took great interest in all her guests and spent time with each providing information on local attractions which we would not have known about, like the nearby “France,s smallest fortified village” and many others. We only stayed one night as we were on a schedule but would have planned more had we known more. Thank you Helene and John

Helene and Jean were wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Helene suggested excellent trips each day with maps and also good restaurants for an evening meal. Breakfast was very good with lovely homemade jams and cakes. There was a welcome glass of wine every evening. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
