“A safe apartment with parking and a unique garden”

The property looks better than the pictures. The apartment and parking are very safe behind a gate. We really liked the kitchen that was made of real wood and stone. The coffee garden with spots for meditation is unique. It is nice to walk in this garden. The host speaks English well. There is some coffee and a coffeemaker so you can try the coffee out of the garden. The apartment is located 10 minutes from the Toucan Rescue Ranch. The shower was good.

Unreliable and disrespectful hosts, canceled our booking without any reason on the last moment. We found it after 20 hours flight at 11 p.m. and had to look for another place to stay for a night.

“Beautiful Property, Minimalist Room: A Unique Stay”

This place was so nice. The studio is small but the property is massive and beautiful, and this is the real value of the place. Our studio featured a basic kitchenette (a microwave, coffee maker, utensils), a small private bathroom with a shower, a desk, a TV and sofa that we never used, and a comfortable bed. While the room was generally clean, it didn't quite meet our personal standards - little details like worn towels and bed linens suggested it could use a bit more attention. Also, would be nice to have a place to hang stuff (but there are drawers where you can store your clothes). Phil helped us overcome the hanging situation quite effectively :) The internet connection was stable and we had a parking spot inside the property, which was a plus. The true magic of this accommodation is its breathtaking property and location. Imagine expansive gardens, stunning views, and a serene meditation space that invites pure tranquility. The silence is profound, the air pristine. You could easily spend days just exploring the grounds, soaking in the natural beauty. Keep in mind you'll need a car (either rented or using Uber/taxis) to move around. The host, Phil, is a highlight - very nice, friendly, and incredibly responsive. Phil understands that the value of his place isn't in luxurious interiors, but in the extraordinary environment he has created. If you're looking for a fancy room, this might not be your spot. But if you want a peaceful retreat that connects you with nature, this is absolutely perfect.

Idyllic gardens with many viewpoints from which to soak in the amazing landscape. Phil is a great host, lovely to chat to and listen to all his stories about the ranch and Costa Rica. His coffee is exceptional. It was the perfect stay for a late afternoon landing at the airport & breaking the journey to Tortuguero or Puerto Viejo.

“Laid-back stay at a coffee farm in San Isidro”

Stunning location next to the coffee plantations and beautiful coffee farm gardens. Spacious accommodation, perfectly maintained, with all equipment including coffee maker, grinder and beans from the farm. Outdoor terrace and outlook with amazing views. All quite a perfect harmony.

Loved the property! So well maintained. The bed, pillows and sofa were very comfortable. The owner is a very laidback, friendly guy. Would recommend! The garden and coffee ranch is AMAZING 😍

There is a very nice garden (including coffee plant, ....) which can be visited during your stay. Really beautiful. We were also able to test the home grown coffee. Also got some very good recommendations where to go for food by the host.

The garden is very pretty. The parking space. The bathroom. flexibility of finding cash through a restaurant thanks to the host.
