The apartment is located in the ground floor of a family home in a residential street in the seaside suburbs of Concarneau . That said it is completely self contained and private. There is a functional kitchen and comfortable seating area. The bedroom and bed were very comfortable and the bathroom and shower clean and modern. The couple who host the apartment are friendly and speak only a little English, but with my limited French, it made for funny exchanges and added to the magic of been immersed in French culture. A lovely local bakery that opened 7 till 7 supplied wonderful baguettes and pastries. Just a five minute walk from the apartment you found yourself on the rocky coastline where evening sunsets took your breath away. The ferry across the harbour mouth to Ville Close, the Old Town was an easy 20 minutes walk on the coastal path. A real value for money location.

Super location for Concarneau - a lovely walk to the ferry for the Ville Close. Great to be there for the Filets Bleue Festival.

“Great place to stay”
We enjoyed having lots of space to ourselves, and a safe place for our tandem. The suite had everything we needed. It's a great place to stay. It's handy for Concarneau centre by foot or bike as well as close to small swimming beach.
