Very nice property, clean, good location close to the port, great view from all the rooms. It is slightly more of a walk up the hill to restaurants though. Great breakfast and friendly staff.

We liked everything, the room, the location, the people, the view was stunning. It is excellent value for money. The breakfast was great. It is a further walk up the hill than many other hostels but it is truly worth it and then you're already up high to start a walk. Thank you wara utu Lodge 😊

“Beautiful stay on Isla del Sol”

We have just returned from a exceptional 3-day stay at Hostal Wara Uta. Absolutely perfect accommodation in the beautiful community of Yumani. The rooms are spacious, very clean and cosy. Beds, pillows, linen and blankets are very comfortable and warm. Bedside tables with lamps and power-points were handy. Bathroom was very clean, in good working order and the shower had HOT water 😍 The outdoor space was great for enjoying the view of the lake, snow-capped Andes, island and generally, the peace & quiet was amazing! The location is mind-blowingly wonderful - pure bliss. The hosts are so warm and friendly, their hospitality will warm your heart. Breakfast was also fantastic - great selection of eggs, fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread with butter & jam, piping hot coffee/tea - enjoy your meal with the best view! Wifi works well too. Fabulous local restaurants and mini-marts a 2min walk around the corner. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Isla del Sol to come stay at Hostal Wara Uta and experience hospitality at its finest. Thank you Alicia for everything you do 💕🙏 10/10

“Clean, friendly, cold”

The location is very good, close to the main street with restaurants. Very clean: bed sheets, towels. Hot water. Friendly staff. Didn’t try to scam with the fake exchange rate.

The accommodation was clean, simple, and matched the description well. The furnishings were basic but fully sufficient for a short stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made the stay even more pleasant. Overall, it offered good value for money.

Clean, comfortable and cosy room, nice breakfast and a lovely host. It’s worth the walk as you get beautiful views and are 10min walk from restaurants with sunset views. Showers were low pressure but warm

Lovely base right at the top of the village and next to the ‘sunset’ restaurants. Good spot for starting walks around the island. Run by a friendly family.

“Wonderfully peaceful place”

Wonderful location with great views from our window. So peaceful here, short walk to street with restaurants. Brekfast was good with youghurt , fruits, breads, eggs if desired. Of course one has to be quite fit t get here, leave large luggae in sorage on the mainland.

It's on top of a hill. Don't bring a suitcase or heavy luggage. Room was clean. It was pretty cold at night, but they had enough blankets. Breakfast is nice. It's a tiny village and the family is helpful and kind

“Great value for money”

Lovely family-run hostel, cozy rooms, delicious breakfast. Beds a bit firm, but generally speaking rooms are very clean and cozy, hot shower available. Beautiful view and absolute silence at night, can become a bit chilly but extra blankets are being provided upon request. Towels and soap also provided. Considering the remote island location, as much as you can wish for. Price also very reasonable (around 270 BOB for a doublebed room at the time of writing). Had a wonderful time on the Island, highly recommended

We had an amazing stay in Wara Uta Lodge! The views and location make the walk up worth it. The hosts are very friendly.

Very welcoming, nice big room. At the very top of the island so a bit of a walk but worth it for the nice views. It’s walkable distance to restaurants for the evening.
