“Lovely place, great value”

Brilliant value for money! The owner was so kind - he even brought us tea after we arrived. Views were amazing, right from the cabin. We loved having our own cabin and en-suite. It is a steep walk from the port (as is everything) but still before the main town, so it's less of a walk with your big bags. Breakfast was either eggs or guacamole/bread/jam + tea/coffee/juice.

Lovely, basic little cottage, with bathroom, bed and plenty of blankets to keep you warm during the night. I had warm shower in the morning and lovely breakfast with the view. Booked it last moment ( during ferry ride to the island), but still got the response and hospitality from the owners.

The host Carlos was a really easy to chat to, and was very accomodating. Great views over the lake and a nice breakfast in the morning.

Inti Wasi Lodge is a lovely place to stay on the island. I had a private room with big and comfortable bed, a lot of blankets so it was really warm at night and a private bathroom with hot water. The view from the window is just amazing and you can watch the sunrise directly from your bed. Breakfast was delicious including coffee, tea, fresh juice, warm bread, jam, butter, eggs (other day it was jummy guacamole) and also you have the same stunning view while eating :) Close to the main street with restaurants :)

“Basic but decent value lodgings in a small village”

Amazing view of lake titicaca. Simple but nice breakfast. Room was basic but perfectly comfortable.

“Views!!!”

Of course the main reason we stayed on Isla del Sol was to explore the natural surroundings and soak up the serenity - the lake view from our bedroom window was incredible, so it definitely delivered there. Place was well signed and easy to find. After the looong and exhausting Inca Steps, as expected. Staff were friendly, and we were even able to pay on card, matching the rate on Booking. To our surprise even the WiFi worked perfectly - way better than on the mainland. Numerous thick blankets on the bed kept us nice and cosy in our little cabin.

Breakfast was good- we were offered more bread too. Great views of the lake. Buildings were well presented, we had some flowers outside our door. Lots of blankets so you’re kept warm at night.

It was very very comfortable, and really nice as each room is its own building adding to the privacy. Amazing views out over the lake. Owner was very friendly and cooked eggs for breakfast.

Had a really good stay here. The room is quite simple, but the view of the lake from the room and terrace is literally that of a five stary hotel. Very comfy bed, friendly owners, good breakfast. Isla del Sol is a beautiful place.

A room with a view! We where early awake because we were gooing on a hike around the Island. It was not yet time for breakfast but she was happy to made it a bit more early for us.

Beautiful place with a beautiful view. Not too far after the stairs. A corner of paradise, really quiet and spacious. The bed was super comfy

“Rustic but good accommodation in good location”

Rustic but good accommodation with an excellent view towards the east. It is only a 10 min walk from the top of the ridge, where the best restaurants are. Breakfast always simple but good, and the owners were very friendly and attentive.

Nice little cabins with superb views from the rooms and the terrace outside. Friendly and helpful staff who gave us valuable information on the boats.and other services on the island. Good breakfast.

“A room with a view”

Very friendly owners. The room was quaint and traditional. The view from the windows and outside terrace was spectacular. There was plenty of space in the room. The bed was exceedingly comfortable with plenty of blankets and quilts to keep you snug and warm. The location was ideal, just off from the main path through the village and a short uphill walk to restaurants. The breakfast was lovely, including tea, coffee or hot chocolate, Freshly made fruit juice, Nicely made scrambled eggs, warm bread rolls, jam and butter and we were offered more if we wanted. We were able to leave our bags until our ferry left.
