“Beautiful views”

Really friendly staff, a lovely breakfast and beautiful setting. I appreciated the hot shower and heater for the evenings.

The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming, and the accommodation is beautiful—the outdoor bed was a dream! The port pickup worked perfectly, and dinner at sunset was delicious. We especially loved the Uros tour; it felt so much more private and authentic than the usual crowded tours.

“Magical”

My room was beautiful, huge! A massive double bed all to myself, a stunning view over lake Titicaca, and waking up to the sunrise every morning - magical!! I stayed here for 5 days over Christmas and experienced the local Christmas Eve party, which was something else! Casa de la Luna is beautiful and well worth the hike up the Inca steps to reach it! I had a wonderful time.

“Perfect spot”

Awesome place to stay! Super friendly welcome, delicious breakfast and awesome view! Appreciated the heater in the room and the wifi worked incredibly well considering the location. Really great recommendations for dinner and how to get to places. Would definitely stay again!

“Good overall with some minor room for improvement”

The accomodation has a fantastic view onto the lake and certainly offers a great base for exploring the island. Room - spacious, comfy bed and large bathroom. Shower was luke warm as it uses a small electrical shower head to heat the water but it does the job. Breakfast - consisted of bread and eggs like most places and was really nice (do note the time is wrong on booking.com as they only serve it between 8am and 9am) - no other food options during the day but other restaurants are within 5 minutes walking. Owner/Staff - very little English spoken however with the help of Google you'll be fine. They were all very nice and accommodating. Location - in a good position however top recommendation ... do not bring your big bags (just day bags with essentials) as its a killer walking up from the port to the village via the Inca steps. Trust me - bring small bags only! Summary - if they sort out room amenities for warmth and comfort then it would be fantastic. It is better than many in the village but just needs a few bits more...

“Really lovely stay”

Loved the view, the spacious and comfortable beds and the very lovely host! Breakfast was also delicious 😋 be warned the hike up there is challenging, but it's the same for all the hostels on the island.

Beautiful place to stay!

“Very clean, comfortable hotel, well managed.”

It was very quiet when I stayed, I was the only one in the hotel, which I felt a bit guilty about. The island was incredibly quiet when I was there, which was unexpected. But the room was lovely and big, the bed was incredibly comfy, with many blankets to keep me warm. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and I woke up to a perfect view of the sunrise over the lake. Amazing. Breakfast was more than adequate, quite big.

“Stunning views in an amazing location”

The view was great but I thought the room was not quite what was shown on the Booking .com website. The bathroom facilities were not great and hot water was a little variable.

Great location and the owners were lovely and accommodating. I recommend for short and long term stay

“Wonderful”

We had a fabulous time at Casa de la Luna! The hosts were wonderful and attentive and sweet, and the breakfast was divine. The views are stunning, and probably the comfiest beds of our entire trip!

Big room with a good view of the lake and mountains. Friendly and helpful staf. Good location. Average breakfast.
