Location was perfect. Secure car parking in courtyard behind electric gates. 10 minute walk into the town centre. Modern fixtures and fittings and very clean.

The location was perfect for access to Compiègne station - 20 mins on foot. A 50 minute train journey to the Gare du Nord gave us great access to our Paris Olympics events. The off road courtyard parking was ideal to leave the car in security. A small supermarket around the corner provided essentials and several bakeries were handy. There is an apparently popular bistrot across the road which we did not try. Plenty of places to eat in the town centre within easy walking distance. The living area was reasonably spacious and the beds comfortable. The small kitchen was basic but functional.

The owners were friendly and welcoming, and are on hand if needed. The house is comfortable and clean and has all that you need for self-catering. There is also secure off-street parking. The location is great for visiting Compiegne, including the chateau and park, on foot; and by car, for visiting the Forest of Compiegne.

Great location a short walk from the centre, but with shops, restaurants, bank etc on your doorstep. Lovely host who met us to handover the keys and showed us around the apartment so we knew where everything was. Comfy apartment with everything you need and secure parking. Good value breakfast. All in all superb.

This is a wonderful 2 bedroom property close to the centre of Compiegne, about 10 minute walk from the railway station, quite spacious and with secure car parking. It is light and spacious, spotlessly clean, with all the facilities and utilities needed, and nicely decorated too. What makes it really special is the welcoming hostess, Aveline. We arrived very late after a number of traffic problems but she helped to calm us down by her kindness and helpfulness. Breakfast was great. We have no hesitation in recommending this as a place to stay in this charming town, with it’s even more charming hostess.
