Casa Trigo was absolutely wonderful. The house was clean and exactly as described in the advertisement. It is situated in the village center on a quiet street and just a short walk from charming squares with restaurants and cafes. Shops and supermarkets are also very nearby. Casa Trigo is a great base for walks and hikes into the mountainous nature reserve next to the village. Because of being near the mountains Cómpeta has steep streets, many of which have steps. Communication with the hostess through Booking.com was excellent, and check-in was seamless. The recommended parking space was just a few minutes walk from the house. I felt immediately at home at Casa Trigo and in this friendly, lively mountain village with its charming streets. Highly recommended.

Host were excellent...lots of great communication before trip and it continued throughout, including maps and where to park and how to get about. House is as described and has everything you need including a coffee machine. Bed was very comfy and bathroom was big and good power shower. Large roof terrace be ideal in good weather...even has mini fridge!

“Top quality home with stunning roof terrace”

Beautiful house with a very well equipped kitchen and stunning roof terrace that has lovely comfortable chairs and an umbrella. The bathroom is also very modern and the shower worked well. Becky and Martin were very good hosts. I was met by Martin from the bus stop which I appreciated. Competa is a lovely town with lots of restaurants and the locals are very friendly. There is a huge and very quiet public swimming pool a 5 minute walk from the house which is only €3 for a swim and is open til 9pm.

Becky and Martin were the perfect hosts. The casa is very well equipped and recently renovated with comfortable bed and excellent shower. The terrace is a wonderful place to sit and take in the awesome views of Competa and the distant coast.

A lovely self-contained little house with all facilities needed for a pleasant stay. Set above the centre of Cómpeta with spectacular views out to the distant sea and of the surrounding mountains and countryside from the roof terrace, which was furnished with a table and chairs. Cómpeta is a picturesque village with ample shops, restaurants and bars. I'm vegan but I found places to eat.
