Everything starting with our super friendly and supportive host, the facilities and the dog. Top 3 stays in my time travelling

The hostel is very clean, shared bathroom and kitchen were both kept spotless. The only thing we didn't like was that the room we booked wasn't available and the alternative was a little smaller and hotter. They did give us a good fan to fight the heat. We appreciated the water garrafon. It's a good walk to the central park. There's a supermarket nearby and you're only three blocks from the main road through town.

Fantastic host who made us feel right at home. The artwork in the hostel was exceptional as was the welcome we received. The best example of Mexican hospitality on our last stop before Guatemala. Highly recommended!

The stay here in Comitan was so amazing for us. It is a small family owned hostel with so friendly stuff. The interesting thing is, that Oscar, the owner of the hostel also arrange tours to explore the nature highlights of Chiapas. We took part at a tour were we saw chiflon, a beautiful cenote and the ojo de agua. It feels like a little family trip and the overall experience was so different to other stressful tourist tours. Thank you soo much for this great stay and for all the recommendations, we hope that we can come back one day:)

“Home away from Home”

The location was very central to the big bus station and close to colectivos to various tourist attractions. Oscar and Andrea (owners), both offered to drive me places for free. In fact, Oscar drove me to a colectivo terminal for my archeological excursion and also to Tzimol for my canyoning excursion. They allowed me to take a towel with me canyoning, although the excursion promised to be pretty dirty. Oscar and Andrea are lovely, loving people and very helpful.

It's a small cosy ideally clean hotel.I' ve been travelling in Mexico for many years meeting a lot of nice people.But Oscar and his wife,the owners of the hotel, are the best people I've ever met in this country. There's a small but well equipped kitchen. I had a very comfortable modern room.Different meals are also provided in the hotel. I must say that all dishes are delicious here. My next time in Comitan will be with these wonderful people.Thank you!

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Great location. Great wifi. But the absolute best part was Andrea, she is amazing. She showed me in person the location of the collectivo to El Chiflon and went above and beyond helping me. I highly recommend.

“Touring Mexico”

The family were very welcoming. Oscar also operates a tour business and took me for 2 days to waterfalls and lakes, which was my reason for visiting Comitan. He also helped me organise ongoing transport and he has very good music for playing in his car. I was able to cook and they also run a restaraunt.
