This is one of the best places I've stayed in, and I've seen a lot. The town itself is such a vibe, tourists flock there to walk the tiny streets and the seabed at low tide. But being able to wake up there, with a door open right to the water is an amazing experience. I laid an bed and looked at the birds seeking food among seaweed. The house itself is very interesting too. I suppose it's a renovated boat shed or something, but it has everything one needs. The architecture is very cool, with 3 levels, a lot of wood and white, some pretty decor and stone walls. We only used the lower two levels, the living room and the bedroom with a view, but it also has a third attic floor with an extra bed. The bathroom is nice, new and clean. Maybe more space for towels would have been good, but otherwise nothing more to ask. There is a good food shop and several nice restaurants very near, so no problem with that. Also a place for parking (not by the house, but not far) and a bus stop.

“Authentic stay in a charming town!”
Fantastic location overlooking the estuary with amazing views from the bedroom and living room. The house is compact but nicely designed and decorated in a modern style, fitting well with the age of the property.

“Fabulous!!”
We are Pilgrims walking El Camino Espiritual, so the location was perfect, right on the road, with beautiful views over the ocean! A perfect writers retreat. The design and the use of this beautiful small space was outstanding! One of our favorite places that we’ve stayed at, and a place that we would love to come back to

“Great for a short stay in summer”
The place is beautifully renovated, well furnished and equipped. It’s right on the water in the middle of the old part of Combarro, so staying there is a really special experience. Fantastic beaches nearby, and lots of good restaurants within five minutes walk.

“Great place to stay in an atmospheric town.”
The place had a very high standard of decor and fittings and was in an excellent location. A lady was waiting for us on arrival in the one hour time frame we had indicated.
