Cute apartment in the beautiful town of Combarro. Kitchen and bathroom have a bit of an older feeling but the apartment is very clean and comfortable. Heater available and highly appreciated. The host met me in person and was very helpful (helped me find a taxi last minute when the taxi that I had booked canceled on me).

Location and charm. It tucked right town and a stone throw for the water which the pictures reveal. It was so quaint almost magical. Step out the door you are in the old town surrounded by history take a left stroll a 30 meters and you are at a restaurant with a patio that continues to the sea with fantastic view. The facilities were perfect to two tired pilgrims. But it was our hosts that made it so pleasurable. We have stayed at a number of luxury resorts but have never been so well looked after by our hosts. There is no limit to there kindness and thoughtfulness. We were considering having our bags carried for the next stage of the journey. We bumped into her and her husband at the restaurant mention above (which is owned by the family) she said her dad (who is a taxi driver) would do this for us. Called him, he came to the restaurant so we could meet him and be reassured who would bring them to us. The following morning we left managed our walk to our destination. We called her she arranged for dad to pick up the bags and bring them to us!

I loved this place, I could live there 😊 in a favourite town, this place was a little peace of heaven

Incredible location! Beautiful, well appointed, private apartment. Walkable area so rich in culture and history. Close to a market for eating in.

“Old world charm”

The little flat in an old stone building, situated close to the beach between other old stone houses, was a haven for two tired and cold Pilgrims. It truly had its own very special charm. Our best stay on this trip, so far. Simply magical!
