“Despite having a prepaid confirmation, the hotel was overbooked when I arrived!”
Despite having a prepaid confirmation, the hotel was overbooked when I arrived at 10:30 PM after a long journey from the UK. Without any prior warning of the cancellation, they transferred me to the nearby Antlers Hotel, which was not of a comparable standard. As a lone female traveler, it was not ideal to finally get into a room at midnight. To make matters worse, I am still waiting for my refund.

“Excellent Hotel in good location great parking”
Great location, a few bars and restaurants just down the road. Parking was good, had a restaurant and bar on the top floor which was nice.

“Bad experience with customer service via booking.com”
Can t comment as I did not sleep at springhill Downtown, but at Springhill South, after a wrong reservation through third party booking.com. Springhill South receptionnists were very agreable people, Springhill Downtown was helpful on the phone, promising refund... then not acting the same way.
