Host was friendly and knowledgeable, home cooked food was delicious. Location stunning, challenging drive to get to but worth the effort. Very peaceful. Room cosy, spacious and inviting.

“Awesome and different experience of mountain life”
Excellent secluded property in the mountains away from hustling towns of lake como. Very isolated, peaceful,scenic and beautiful. Although bit far from the city and difficult to reach the hosts laila and her husband were very very helpful and came to pick up from far location and drop me off to bishop even in the early morning. Dinner cooked in mountain style dishes and affordable. Highly recommend for everyone.

We stayed at the place as a part of a several-day hiking trip. The room and other facilities were very clean. .Laila and her husband hosted us with extreme kindness and ensured that we'll have the best experience possible. Great dinner is available (with some extra payment), and breakfast was also great. More than anything, visiting the place was a funny and joyful human encounter and we highly recommend it

Le Casette di Leila is at an incredible location literally hanging over lago Como with views left and right across the lake (5' from the house) and working farms, alpine meadows and a deep forest. Daniele and Leila were wonderful hosts and their cooking authentic for the region and delicious. A real gem. The single lane road up is also a real adventure - as the hosts noted 'don't come with a Ferrari or Porsche'

“Very unique and beautiful experience!”
The daniel and laila were very sweet and helpful and we had an amazing special experience of mountain life. It was the highlight of our trip! Very different from other touristy places and a quiet place between all the fuss
