The friendliness of staff. Excellent location.

Posada del Angel is really well situated in Colonia and, as a result, we were able to walk to it from the ferry terminal (even with four pieces of baggage!). It is in a very tranquil street, and close to everywhere in the town. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the breakfast especially the homemade cakes. The room was somewhat small but, given it's a charming old building, we were expecting that and it wasn't so important for us.

“Lovely posada near the old town”

What a charming posada. The breakfast was great, the pool was much appreciated; the location was perfect: just a stone's throw away from the old town. We loved our stay here, just not long enough. The only small problem was that the room didn't have windows, just doors opening out to the corridor which had a glass roof. So when you were in the room, you had to have your lights on! I'd definitely recommend coming here; we were out most of the time anyway or in the pool!!

“Adorable spot”

Staff here were so lovely despite us not knowing much Spanish. The morning breakfast was great and the garden looked beautiful despite the rain. It's a great location near the bus stop, the boat, and the old town.

The hotel is decorated beautifully. Our room was a good size & beautifully presented. The breakfast was very tasty. The pool was great after a long day sightseeing. The staff were all very nice & friendly.

The hot tub is nice, the location is good and close to the ferry/bus terminal. The breakfast is amongst the best I’ve had in South America.

Location is excellant to get to and from the port as well as walking into the old part of town. The breakfast was good. Even though our room was at the front door it was very quiet.

The property is well set up in a cute old building and nicely decorated (colors and angels) with nice pool, very close to old city. But in a quiet alley. The staff is really friendly.

This was our third stay at Posada del Angel. The breakfast was always really good. This was our first stay upstairs, and we enjoyed the sitting room a lot.
