Overview
Marina Hotel overlooks the picturesque Shelter Bay Marina at the edge of the Fort San Lorenzo National Park. It has a sun deck and a hot tub. Close to the Caribbean entrance to the Panama Canal, Marina Hotel is just a short walk from Diablo Beach. Fort San Lorenzo is about 15 minutes away, and there is free on-site parking. The stylish and spacious rooms in Marina Hotel at Shelter Bay all have air-conditioning and flat-screen satellite TV. They have views of the jungle or the marina. The guest lounge is a great place to watch the large-screen TV or play cards. There is also a library and a balcony where you can watch the sun set, and the boats enter the canal. Guests can use the gym, which has various machines and free weights. There is also a coin laundry and mini-supermarket on site. The hotel offers a daily shuttle to Colon, and can arrange transfers to Tocumen International Airport. It is ideally positioned for exploring the Lower Coast region of Panama.

“There's nowhere else to stay unless you have a boat in the marina. The jungle walks are great.”
Grossly overpriced, like everything else at Shelter Bay Room is small, bathroom tiny, no hot water in the shower. Free breakfast minimal but good orange juice and greatly helped by extra scrambled eggs Service variable

The property was adequate for what we wanted as we needed to be at Shelter Bay to catch a boat. It was simple and the restaurant was quite good.

Conveniently locate at the marina. Rooms were spacious and clean although a little tired. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
