“Over priced with no real proposition.”

Small room that you cross the restaurant to get to, AC didn’t work. Breakfast a la carte and if choose egg you can’t have yogurt or anything else. Very expensive for what it is and definitely not for families. Just glad it was only for one night.

“Exceptional hotel”

I enjoyed my short stay at Zylan Colombo. All members of staff were so lovely and kind, they made the beginning of my trip so welcoming. I tried out the Japanese restaurant onsite on the first night and the food was also pretty good. I would definitely recommend staying here when in Colombo.

“Better place to dine than a staycation”

The design of the property is nice - very Zen like elements within the common areas and especially the dining area is very spacious, with various peaceful pockets providing complete escape from the buzz of the city. There are multiple dining options within the hotel so there's good variation. Also nearby to an excellent Sri Lankan eatery called Kolamba Kade and some good cafe options in the neighbourhood. Really liked the very spacious balcony in the Deluxe room. Staff is helpful.

The food

Spacious rooms and very clean. Conveniently located in a quiet neighbourhood, only a short tuk tuk ride to anywhere. Building is beautiful and unique. Breakfast was very good and staff are all friendly. Great coffee shop around the corner Locos Colombo try the Iced Pistachio Latte. Would highly recommend Zylan House and would stay there again

Great location to explore Colombo. Delicious breakfast, especially the Sri Lankan omlette. Lovely rooftop bar and restaurant.

Excellent quiet location, the architecture and design and interior décor of the building. Spacious common areas. Wonderful in house Japanese restaurant with roof top views. Attentive and helpful staff.
