This is a small and cute hotel. It’s very well located, super close to all the tourist areas. Also, the price is really good. I liked this hotel a lot. The bed was very comfortable and the pillow was great too. The room has everything you need — and for me, one of the most important things: a really good aircon that doesn’t make any noise! Everything was super clean. Also, the onion cookies in the minibar (they are complimentary) were delicious! A small touch, but I loved it. The man at the reception was also very nice and helpful.

Stable WiFi was the most important for us and we got it! The rooms are really tiny, but they don’t hide it, you can see it on photos. Impressive fact is how the used a space in such tiny rooms. We even had a desk to work. They really did their best to equip the room as good as possible

I had a pleasant stay at The Residence in Colombo. The location is excellent, making it convenient for travelers. The service was exceptional, with Mr. Imran and the morning staff being extremely helpful, especially during check-in. Their warm hospitality made the experience smooth and welcoming.

Comfy bed, amazing staff

Very pleasant stay thanks to the service of Imran. Room is clean and has enough space for 2 large backpacks. Location is great if you dont mind taking the tuk tuk to some tourist areas located further away (cost <2 euro's)

The property was so clean and tidy. It was meeting the expectations. The location was easy to find.

The hotel is well-located, with a wide variety of restaurants and food options nearby.

I was allocated a room on the third floor which was fine with me. However, the room offered was right at the corner of the floor and adjoining to a door without a lock next to the balcony. I did not feel comfortable and ended up being up both nights. Appreciate if the front staff could be more mindful when room allocation is done in the future.

Good sized bed & room as well as shower facilities. Security on front door gave a sense of it being more secure as a place to stay

“Good value for money and just what we needed for our short stay in Colombo”

Very basic rooms which was just what we needed for a quick stay in Colombo after a long flight. Vert easy to get a pick me into central colombo (a tuk tuk cost about 300LKR) Came with a kettle and snacks and water, good hot water from the shower and comfy bed. Also had good wifi.
