“Peace amongst the chaos”
While this hotel is a little out of the way as far as the attractions of Colombo go, it’s a great area. I walked the streets day and night without concern. Tuk Tuks were not expensive, and the beach, see breeze and rooftop views outweighed any distance. The staff were incredible! I woke up the morning after arriving to realise I had left my bank card in the airport ATM, and they were so helpful with calling around and I was able to get it back!! All the staff were friendly, and couldn’t do enough to help the guests. When leaving I caught an overnight bus. They stored my bag, and provided me with toiletries and a towel to have a shower before I left in the evening. I’d absolutely stay here again, and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

“Higly recommended”
Sayura House was a wonderful discovery, an oasis of peace in the middle of the city's chaos. The staff is super welcoming and helpful, doing everything they can to make you feel at home. The courtyard is cool and surrounded by greenery, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast is one of the best. There is also a terrace with a stunning view of the ocean.

“Exceptional”
A beautiful peaceful hotel. Our room was lovely and exceptionally clean.The staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly. Max, the golden retriever is the best and our breakfasts were delicious. Highly reccommend.

A cosy, peaceful spot in a central location with beautifully furnished rooms. The garden and balcony overlooking greenery create a warm, home-like atmosphere. The whole place feels welcoming and friendly, and serves amazing breakfast, I’d happily stay here again anytime.

Best place to stay in Colombo. The place is super nice, clean and beautiful. The 2 male workers during our stay are super nice and very hardworking people. The owner is great and accommodating. This was our second stay at Sayura House, and was received with such a warm welcome. Our room was perfect, providing such a cosy, calm setting. The shower was such a tranquil touch with the natural light pouring in and surrounded by greenery. We could not have been more relaxed. We look forward to more stays with you! The house was very beautiful and the staff were fantastic! Location great, upstairs lovely. Breakfast amazing, one of the best we have ever had. Unfortunately only stayed one night, will be back. Organised a lovely cake for my husband too❤️
