“Peaceful city oasis”

Very peaceful and green little oasis in the south of the city. Lovely pool too cool off in. Our room was comfortable and we loved the big open air bathroom attached to it. Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast.

Breakfast was amazing , the staff were really friendly and helpful and the room was comfy big and clean !

The decoration is so pretty and bedding is so soft comfy. Swimming pool also was really enjoyable and clean. We even had a small other room to use for our calls or snack breaks.

Spacious and airy rooms. Homely, peaceful and quiet. Very conveniently located to the main town. Breakfast was very good. Felt safe with the security guard who opened the car doors for us. Very accomodating for our needs. A/C and hot water worked very well. The environment that surrounded the property was very tranquil with the greenery, pool and flowing water. Staff were very helpful.

I have stayed at Havelock Bungalow a few times before and it feels like coming home. The young man who works there even recognised me and has been so helpful. It is a nice quiet oasis in the middle of Colombo, very comfortable rooms and an excellent restaurant right next to it where you can witness the food being prepared on fire. I love this place!

A great stay in Colombo. Very stylish property and beautiful garden. Helpful staff and a good breakfast plus dinner in the adjoining GINI restaurant. Delicious, cordon bleu food.

Fabulous location! The property is well maintained and beautiful. Heritage style colonial bungalow. The care taker and the rest of team were exceptionally nice and went out of their way to help me.

Lovely colonial style building with high ceilings and traditional decor. The staff were excellent - attentive without being intrusive. The food at the Gini restaurant was also very good. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious

“Secluded but central Home from Home”

Beautiful villa type rooms and trusted staff makes it homely and less BnB ish. The food is amazing and despite the cyclone unfolding during my stay there, everyone did their best to provide us with warm hospitality.

“Home away from home in Colombo”

This colonial style bungalow was one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious, clean, and well thought-out. The hosts were super accomodating for us, as we had a late flight the next day. This made the whole airport process so much smoother - thank you again! Would definitely stay here next time I’m in Colombo.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! Absolutely! There's a fantastic restaurant on site—prices are high, but the food is delicious. We arrived late, and they greeted us and helped us return our backpack, which we'd forgotten in the taxi, which we were so grateful for! We had dinner and swam in the pool. At night, crickets, birds, and frogs chirped—it felt like we were in nature, not in the city. In the morning, we were woken by birds and squirrels. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful—every detail tells a story! The staff is friendly. There are lots of plants and flowers on the grounds. Breakfast was delicious. I can't comment on the location because we took a taxi from the airport. There was a durian vendor near the hotel—that added to the charm. I highly recommend it!
